However, the speaker is NOT compatible with all tv remotes. The only way to control the volume is the buttons on top or the app, or I can buy a universal remote. For as much as this speaker costs why doesn’t it come with a simple remote!?!

To work properly on ALL levels, The TV only accepts an HDMI connection. This soundbar is only has an optical connection. The salesperson at the Best Buy store assured me it was compatible-NO. I hade to have the Geek Squad staff come out to evaluate to problem and give me the bad news that it was not compatible. I had to return the soundbar and get a more expensive replacement. Plus the Geek Squad visit cost me an additional $109. BTW-no compensation from the store on them getting it wrong and me being out more money. Disappointed in customer service at the Olympia Store.

Got it home and set it up. You can airplay music, so if your wifi goes out, so does your music. Why it doesn’t have a bluetooth option, I don’t know. It’s not very loud and nothing was special about the sound. I returned and will be going with a different brand.
