Great small speaker

I did strongly consider keeping this and selling my old Sonos Playbar but I really like that speaker.

Packaging was nice and the unit was well protected with all of the required components. Once mounted the App was used to complete the set up and that was straight forward. Unfortunately after just a week of use the unit developed static in the playback sound. None of the settings would compensate for the static even though a fiber optic was used as the signal source. The unit was returned as defective for a full refund. To date I have not found another unit to install.

Could not connect Sonos Ray to WiFi routers (tried 2 different routers). The Sonos app is dreadful, would not load after putting the app on different phones and signing in. The Sonos "how to setup" video makes it seem simple to set up (and it should be) but this was not the case for me. Wasted two hours of my life I cant get back. I've returned it to Best Buy (they make returns simple and are great) and will be looking for a different brand of sound bar from them. As cool as the item seemed, I cannot recommend SONOS after my experience.

Aside from looking sleek and having an easy setup, there’s nothing positive about this speaker. There is a tin/metallic noise on loud sounds, and the dialogue is muffled most times. No amount of adjusting the bass or treble has resolved this. I have done plenty of troubleshooting with Sonos through their customer service without any resolution. Not worth the money, and a miserable experience. I’m never purchasing a Sonos product again.
