Very impressive warm sounding small speaker that it much louder than one would expect!! Very durable product. My only “wish it had” comment would be a nylon type of strap of sorts so you can hang it on a something while outside vs having to set it on the ground or on top of a bucket while working. I’ve run this on full volume for +5hrs before battery dies.

I’ve had several and still do own every amplified or connected product Sonos has made in 10 years. The Roam is convenient, lightweight, durable, and it’s familiarity in the Sonos app ecosystem are the absolute reason I chose it. But……and I do mean but…the kids to highs are fairly clean and realistic, and keep your expectations in check that the sound rolls off at the bottom end with barely mid-bass. Even heavily reliant on DSP and mics to continually calibrate it simply isn’t going to reproduce notes under 100hz. Period. Good all around sound but barely a representation of bass notes. Elsewhere it’s a good product and well executed usability/portability.

Great speaker, especially so if you have the Sonos ecosystem in your home. Not Super loud but the sound quality is unbeatable. The only issue, which is prevalent among many Bluetooth speakers, is at times it can be a pain to connect.

Incredible and durable. It’s literally the best portable speaker. It looks premium, sounds premium and is actually durable. I dropped it already and all it has is a small knick. Didn’t affect the sound or anything. I use it in my garage, my backyard and on hikes. It’s simply the best.

This little speaker packs such nice sound in a small body! For the price and size I’m very impressed but that being said the sound is decent and not that of the Sonos one. I would say it’s closer what you would get out of a HomePod mini. I got this as it has wifi and works well with other Sonos speakers and homekit/airplay 2! I use this in my back yard a lot and have no connectivity issues with wifi, and if I did well easy enough I can switch to Bluetooth! I usually play in many speakers at once which is why the airplay 2 is important an I have no issues on that front. Only complaint is the short battery life, but It’s easy enough to throw on a wireless charger!

Purchased for my father in law to use in his garage. Really nice that he can use Google assistant with it. If he is under the car and wants to change music or needs help, he can ask google. That feature alone is Worth the peace of mind and not to mention it's a great speaker

I have been using Sonos for a long time. I have speakers in my media room, bedroom, living room, everywhere. The seamless connection with this portable speaker blew my mind. Perfect integration into existing Sonos systems, great sound, good battery life, additional Bluetooth capability, light, and overall magnificent.

The sound is great. It is very light weight and wonderful to take any where. I gave it 3 stars because it requires that you plug it into your computer to fully charge it. I originally plugged it into a regular outlet the way I do my iPhone and iPad and it sent me a notice that it wasn’t fully charging. It told me to plug it into my computer for a full charge and I did and it charged just right. What if you don’t have a computer handy to charge it? I think it’s impractical.

Love, love, love this portable speaker. Highly recommend the wireless charging base to make it easier to charge it. Just a great product and sounds larger than it looks. I've received a lot of compliments. Water resistant is a bonus for those that accidently leave the speaker outside overnight.

Good sound, much more portable than my Sonos Move, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth capable, water resistance. Also, it’s able to connect with Sonos Move via wifi. **needs more bass.

The sound quality is quite good but sometimes I have trouble with connection. Turning it on and off can be somewhat troublesome as the difference between connecting and on/off is small.

Its a little more complex than a bluetooth speaker which is good and bad. Solidly built and hefty. It's my first Sonos so connectivity took awhile to figure out with the app but once I got it all figured out, it sounds great. Their tech support is helpful but had some snags with them. I love the alarm feature, it will open and play spotify through your phone so i use it as an alarm clock but standby mode will drain the battery in 2-3 days. It chargers on a wireless 5v qi charger just very slow. Probably 4-6 hrs. Sonos sells one specifically for the roam but its like $50. May add a second one!

I bought this for my husband. This is the most used gift I have ever got for him. The sound is amazing and it works with our Sonos system. He takes it outside to listen .
