Excellent portable speaker. I was very impressed when i first bought my sonos home speakers. That i had to go and buy the sonos roam.

This was a cool idea. The volume is always a little too quiet to use outdoors. It is great for a balcony. Sadly, it died after 13 months. Sonos only guarantees it for 12 months... so now I have eWaste going to the trash and a $50 charging base that is useless.

Amazing sound especially when paired up to other Sonos Products and a great paired surround sound together with two Sonos roams for outside music and enjoyment. Especially tubing down the Ginnie Springs river as you’re listening to Free/Into the Mystic Zac Brown Band and the speaker is falling into the river as it’s not floatable. I can still hear it sinking to the river and waiting for it to pop back up! Love this speaker and as I have over 13 Sonos speakers I’ll buy another one to replace this one. Great purchase.

Excellent sound and portability. Enjoy how easy it is to setup and use it as an airplay speaker at home.

Three years after purchasing, I regret buying this. It has had nothing but problems with the battery (which is really important for a portable speaker), it is a total pain to set up, about once a month it just stops working for a few days, Sonos customer service is absolutely horrible, it will occasionally forget the wifi and then when trying to set it back up the app cycles thinking that it’s already connected only to tell you it’s not connected and then tell you again you can’t connect because you are already connected. It’s an absolute joke of a product at an absolute joke of a price by an absolute joke of a company. I’m done fighting with it and buying an Amazon Echo at less than half the price. And just to add some clarification to my rating - the sound quality doesn’t matter when the device won’t work in the first place.

I own 15 Sonos speakers throughout the house and have been buying the soeakers since the early days. Most recently i have teplaced all Sonos speakers with the latest models. That said, I have never had an issue with any speaker until thos model, which was purched after itbwas released. The speaker was great until it was exactly 1 yr and 2 weeks old. At that point it would not charge, so i purchesd a new base thinking that might be the issue - it was not. The speaker stopped taking a charge and becuase it was nust past the warranty period i got nothing from Sonos. So many issues with this speaker model - just save yourself time and money and buy something else.

Out of all the portable speakers I have owned, this one wins. Sleek and appealing design, nice compact size, and clear sound with good mid/bass. Also love that I can connect it with the rest of my Sonos speakers. I would highly recommend this speaker though!

I've had the Sonos Roam for a few weeks now. At first, I had a hard time staying connected to Apple Music. Something must have shifted and I don't have the problems any more. This speaker sounds GREAT. Fantastic bass from such a small form. LOVE IT.

Sonos just makes great stuff!!!! Have the Ones but love these for smaller spaces. Have three in my masterbedroom and bathroom, and office. Just as easy to use as the Ones, and Alexa works great with them.

Bought this thinking it would be a great option. I was wrong. This speaker could not be set up as our wifi router was "not compatible with the speaker". apparently Sonos knows this is an issue but does not tell anyone until AFTER you spend hours on your own trying to figure it out and then spend an hour on the phone with their support team. I was told that their engineering team knows that there are major cable providers (Spectrum) providing Dual Band routers that are not compatible with their products. A simple bluetooth speaker that requires a proprietary app to set up for use. I know own a $200 paperweight and have to return jt

Easy to set up, very good sound for a compact speaker and for the sale price. Battery has lasted well for my use.

Bought this in February of 2022 and it completely died less than two years later. I was a big fan of Sonos (I have a number of speakers in my house), but this product has soured my view of the conpany. I will be thinking twice before buying another Sonos product.

Good sound, great portability. Not as good as a Sonos One, but good overall. Great for taking camping.

Could be a little louder, but when it is hooked up with the bar and woofer it really works great.

Garbage. Disconnects all the time and battery life is terrible. Now a little over 2 years of ownership its become a brick that doesn’t turn on. It’s never left my desk and maybe used it a grand total of 20 times.

Sounds great. Easy to use. Everything you could want in a Bluetooth speaker.
