Small, build quality, and sounds great. Easy to use and live the charging pad. You cannot beat Sonos.

Great sound quality. Initial set up might be a little annoying but once its set up, it was so useful. Took it with me to shower. Connected to my apple tv and home pod to add extra audio. Great for traveling. Overall a great product.

I’m a speaker connoisseur and own many Sonos and Bose products. If you’re already in the Sonosphere of products you must buy this. It syncs up perfectly with the rest of the system and you can fill mids and highs very nicely in dead spaces. I have a beam, sub, and two one SLs in my living room then just put the roam in the kitchen and it fills that gap. Can hear/feel the bass from the sub and then the beam fills in the rest with great Sonos quality. As a stand-alone Bluetooth speaker it’s very good but not great.a Bose sound link color 2 is better sounding and costs a little less. The Roam has a better size/profile and the software is better. If you don’t have any other Sonos items and just want a portable rugged speaker the Bose probably wins by a slight margin for sound alone. But if you’re in the sonosphere you will be very happy and this is a quality addition to their product line.

The speaker sounded really good for the size but the setup and application is not very easy to use and very slow. And pairing it with a second one which would make it sound really good is almost nearly impossible without Wi-Fi. Bluetooth speakers shouldn't be this hard to use.

Very impressive quality, which is what you would usually expect from Sonos. I compared it to a Sonos One and obviously given the size, the One sounds significantly louder and has a lot more bass, however the Roam fills a small room with adequate bass and very good sound quality. It's very nice being able to easily take it outside when I want music outside of the house. It seamlessly connects.

We have this little speaker plugged in all the time in our kitchen. It sounds super full, and the clarity of Sonos products is super awesome. We love that it connects via wifi so we can always access it. We haven't connected it to any smart home products, but we plan to in the future.

I read a lot of differing bits of information regarding the Roam and syncing with turntables and/or your entire Sonos system. I am here to tell you, it works!! Powerful and small little speaker for general use and portability. However, I bought mine to act as a wireless “bridge” between my turntable and the Sonos system I have in other parts of my home. I had read SO many articles saying you need to spend $500-$650 on a Sonos Amp or Sonos Port to accomplish this. Nope! I have a turntable with Bluetooth capability. If you do not, you will need an inexpensive Bluetooth converter, but I am writing this review for those turntables where this feature is built in (on most turntables today and not an expensive feature). Plug in your Roam and set it up to connect to your WiFi (simple instructions are included to do this). Once it is connected to WiFi, push the Bluetooth button on your turntable. Enable Bluetooth on the Roam (simple button to push and also included in instructions). Your turntable will connect. Now you can play all your turntable music through the Roam. If you go into the Sonos app and group the Roam with ANY of your other Sonos speakers, you can hear the turntable music through all those speakers! Simple! Keep in mind this will not work with any portable speaker that is only Bluetooth (since your Sonos system is on wifi) and Sonos requires Sonos speakers to group.

Love it. The sound is so clean and clear. The size is perfect to take with you everywhere.
