Everything about this speaker is great, most notable the lightweight device and the rich sound it produces

Definitely worth buying. I was very curious about how the sound quality would be coming from such a small device but it sounds amazing! I have several Sonos SL speakers throughout my house. I keep the Roam plugged into power in my living room and basically treat it like a SL when playing the same tunes throughout the house, then if I go outside to BBQ or mow, I unplug and bring it with me. Anyone who has multiple SL's I would recommend trying this. It's a better option then buying another SL.

Awesome features, great outdoors when we are grilling but don’t want to miss a second of the game on our apple tv. Only thing is it doesn’t get very loud. Bluetooth range is what you’d expect but airplay isn’t as far as other airplay speakers I have used

+airplay 2 + Bluetooth - The battery on this product is trash. Every time I want to use it its dead and I manually power is off between uses. - I cannot believe how Sonos s2 ecosystem has become. I used to have Bose sound touch systems (and thought that was bad) and moved to Sonos and Sonos has become buggy now. (Bose’s new smart home system works better then my Sonos gear.) -I bought this as a 2nd try on Sonos and it sounds ok but the tweeter crackles when you use Spotify connect and the volume “steps” on Spotify connect is too annoying. This seems like a decent first try for a portable Sonos but I would wait for the next version. This one feels half baked. Summary: It is priced exactly as it should. At 169$ the bugs can be forgiven. Under 200$ Perfection is not expected. Good enough is the “new normal”

Great sounds from a tiny little package. Appreciate the ability to connect to BlueTooth along with AirPlay and SONOS.

This is the most powerful and true speaker for its size and weight I have ever used. Every time I pick it up, I’m amazed at how light it is. All the materials and the build is high end, as expected from Sonos. Sound quality is superb. The bass is powerful and does overcompensate just a little, sounding muddy at times, but look how small it is! The Sonos app makes setup and pairing with other Sonos products a breeze. The Roam features Alexa and Google Assistant. It links right to your existing accounts, and you can use BOTH on one device. Having Alexa and Google in one place is handy. There’s also all the usual standalone streaming apps for podcasts and music. The sound is so good, I will be adding another one soon to have them paired for stereo sound. The speaker automatically adjusts to whatever space you’re in to optimize sound. You can definitely hear this when moving room to room and most especially outside. I was impressed with this feature. Waterproof, not resistant, means it will make pool trips in a couple months and I don’t have to worry about it being too close to edge. It’s small enough to throw in the bag an set right at the edge where I can hear it without bothering other patrons. The only downside I have found is battery in standby mode does not pst as long as I’d like. It charges super fast bc of usb-c but I do charge it often. I highly recommend!!

Great sound, tech could be better. It’s difficult to switch between WiFi and Bluetooth and the buttons aren’t clearly marked. We’ve had to do a hard reset on it twice to get it to connect. But, for the size of the speaker, the sound is great and we like that it syncs with our other two devices.

Easy to connect (both via Bluetooth and on an existing home Sonos network) and great sound.

This little speaker is awesome. Although not as robust sound as my sonos, SL speakers, it sound great. Best of all I can pair it with my other sonos speakers over wifi. It's a great addition to my home. Now I can take my music or podcasts to the bathroom or the garage. Additionally, I now take it to the office and can connect via blue tooth to my phone or laptop. It may take a little time to figure out how to press the button to make it go to BT mode.
