Love this and don’t know why it’s been missing from my life. Love enjoying music while on the balcony. Love having it matched to our indoor Sonos speakers and walking from indoors to outdoors as the music continues. Sound is crisp and clear. Package instructions could be better as I had to google how to perform some of the functionality.

Overall, a great small speaker with a sound of bigger portables. My only issue with the roam is the impossible to see controls on my black one. They should be highlighted.

Great Sound! I love this speaker! Wanted something that would hook up to my phone, so that I could pick any music I wanted, especially for an outside party! The sound is incredible. My Best Buy sales person suggested specifically this Sonos! Great choice!!

I now have the Sonos arc,move and now the roam.I love them all.They are well worth the money. I take my Sonos roam with me golfing,it has perfect sound while miss-hitting a bunch of golf balls. When I get home I leave it in the bathroom to play music while showering. The Sonos roam really has a high quality sound. Worth the money.

I love the brand, but this was a disappointment. I purchased this to listen to music and to have teleconference calls. Maybe my expectations were too high.

This thing sounds amazing for its size. Very impressed.

I had a little trouble getting the roam to sync with my current system, but after adjusting some network settings with Sonos customer service, it’s been easy listening. The roam performs as expected with exceptional quality audio and bump you wouldn’t expect from a speaker of that size

This was a rather big let down. I preordered this thinking it would perform as well as their other products. It is just not up to par for Sonos. The power on/off is unintuitive, and the LED indicator is tiny, so it’s hard to tell if it is on or off. The two times I’ve gone to use it the battery has been dead, but even that is hard to tell because of the LED and lack of signifying tones. Then there’s the sound. It is ok. I thought it would be reasonably good, considering the size and brand. Coming from owning four different UE Booms, I was really let down that this didn’t sound almost as good or better than the UE products. For the price I can only give it favorable marks for the shape and color. I wanted white so it wouldn’t get as hot in the sun, and the shape directs the sound in a specified direction. At this point I wish I could just get my money back and forget I tried to upgrade from my UE devices.

Works well with Apple devices on outdoor patio at home using AirPlay and WiFi. Alexa works from across the room. I bought the wireless charger and leave the speaker on it when not in use so it is always active. Sound quality adequate, not as good as Sonos One. Good size for taking on picnics or parties.

Amazing sound, super portable, easy to sync to others

In all seriousness you can't go wrong with Sonos. My home theater is all sonos and slowly upgrading all speakers in the house to sonos. Great portable wifi/Bluetooth speakers.

The sound quality is excellent but there have been numerous continued issues with connectivity and power. You must turn the device off manually so it will die quickly if you stop listening and forget to shut it down. It also turns on automatically over the network (house) which doesn’t make sense because if left on, it will die. I have 5 Sonos speakers and I was very disappointed with this product. I tried to reach out to Sonos and never heard back.

My fault, I did not review the product thoroughly before buying. Even if it has a microphone for alexa, it will not work for video calls

The sound is great. The controls are hard to see and hard to use. The battery seems to always be discharged.

I have a couple Sonos beams, one of them is in my room and I have gotten used to listening to nature sounds and thunderstorms on it to help me sleep. I got the Roam because I wanted that experience when I travel and it did not let me down. The bass and clarity that comes from this tiny portable speaker is exceptional.
