It only works if you are on wifi and do not think you can travel with it because you will have to set it up over and over each time you try to play music a new place. Its called a roam but you cant roa anywhere with it… It disconnects several times while music is playing. I called to set up a return and they claimed to process it, now my order says no longer elegible for returns.

I figured the Roam would be perfect to replace my Bose Revolve. However, I am very disappointed. The best feature of the Roam is I can connect it to my current system and listen to the same thing…..that is the only reason I gave it a two stars. The bad, it has decent sound but Bose Revolve is way better. Tested both side by side and it wasn’t comparable (price is comparable). Connecting to the Roam is finicky - you can connect thru the Sonos App or your music app but it doesn’t always connect. Sometimes I have to go back and forth between the Sonos app and the music app to get music playing. I tried to connect via Bluetooth to try and “trick” it and get music to play and it still has issues. Sound is ok, connecting process is frustrating, and price is top of the line. My advice go with Bose until Sonos figures out the small speaker products.

I have $50 speakers that last so long. If you need true portable this will barely last at the pool for a few hours. I don’t understand all the positive reviews that don’t discuss the main thing battery.

Sonos sucks

I thought I’d give it a try but bad decision. My recommendation is to do not get invested in Sonis
