Cannot get more than a few hours (3-4?) of listening before it's completely drained. 10 hours!?- not a chance! This replaced a $69 generic speaker I had been using, huge mistake as having it on the Sonos app was not worth the downgrade. Intended to return it but son was seriously injured in a car accident and I had to leave town for a month. I have a house full of Sonos stuff and love it but this was a waste of money.

Posted .Hi, and thank you for this review. We’re sorry you’re experiencing issues with your battery. Here are some tips that can help. Hold the power button down for 3 seconds to put in bluetooth pairing, and 5 seconds to shut off completely when you’re not using it. Roam goes into standby mode by default after a while of inactivity and when the app is interacted with, it turns back on many times without you knowing. The idea of this is for you to listen to music faster by not having to get up to turn it back on, downside is that it drains the battery without you realizing it. For this reason, we updated Roam to have a battery save option which will turn the Roam off completely when inactive for a few minutes. Also make sure that the charging brick you are using is at least 7.5w and ideally 10w. We hope this helps with your Roam battery life and are happy to help further if needed at sonos.com/support
