When home grouped with other Sonos speakers this thing helps envelope the sound around you. Getting a second one to have it in stereo. Sonos know how to channel the sound to make it unique like no other audio/speaker company.

Possibly the best portable smart speaker going around. We enjoy having this in the bag when we travel. I think my wife enjoys it more than I do.

I love the roam. It has great sound and volume. I'd say that if you need something with more multidirectional sound, then you may want look into the Move. However, I love how I can move these speakers around a room to target where I want sound from.

Sounds almost as good as my Sonos Move which I find great for my patio, but not practical for the beach or my hot tub. The roam sits securely on the side of the tub on it's rubber legs and sounds great. The speaker is loud enough to be heard even when the jets are running full speed.

Enjoying this portable speaker and charger, can quickly grab and move about the house, connected easily to our other Sonos products, and it's much smaller! The white color is very attractive and less distracting than our previous black as well. Highly recommend!

It’s exactly what I expected from Sonos. Sounds incredible Sonos is brand that I prefer to buy. Sonos are a pricey, but you get what you pay for. Bought for a birthday party just to have some music outdoors worked flawlessly.

Garbage. I bought this to use at my work office and it constantly disconnected from Wi-Fi. Talked to tech support and they couldn’t help me at all. Reset it multiple times and was still having the same problem. They told me it must be the Wi-Fi router at my work. At this point I decided to take this home and use it. Connected no problem to Wi-Fi and you can control it through the phone but Aleaxa no longer works. It registers that it heard you and responds as if it is doing the action but nothing happens. I understand things happen but sonos customer service was so awful I would never buy sonos again. Been having issues with this speaker since I got it a little over a month ago trying all different things to try and get it to work with no luck. Also out of the return period now so I guess I’m stuck with a defective speaker.

I love the design and the sound is great. But, the pairing process is fairly difficult. So, Sonos needs to smooth out that issue.

Sound = 5 stars. Operation 2 stars. It’s been really difficult to setup. Have other Sonos and this is so new it’s not compatible with the old app which everything we have is even newer purchases. Bought 2 of them and on wifi they pair nice and simple but when we are out of wifi range using on Bluetooth they have never connected together which is a very large disappointment for the price.

This is an outstanding portable speaker for anyone that has an existing Sonos system and wants to be able to listen to music in rooms without Sonos speakers, the garage, the patio, etc. The sound is incredible for such a small device. I highly recommend it.

Overall, terrific sound quality and SONOS functionality is amazing. I don't care for the button/management features on the ROAM, but otherwise it's great.

Sonos knocked it out the park with this one again. Fantastic sound, the TruePlay really does adapt to any environment. The color is great and every finish is well matched, only downside is that the white can pick up stains sometimes.

Excellent speaker. Great sound in small package. WIFI works great. Not much to complain abvout hardware. Software can use work, especially the PC app.

This speaker is awesome, I have Sonos all throughout my house and being able to sync it from my bar to my portable speaker and taking it out side for a bit, is so seemless. cant wait to get the second one for stereo pair! Recomend whether or not you have sonos products or not!

Very portable addition to my Sonos infrastructure. Sonos is the best for whole house audio. I have use Chromecast, Airplay and others and Sonos is tops. This is mean to be portable and the cheapest in their lineup so don't expect the sound to blow you away.

Sounds great. However, fir tge price, it it should also be Bluetooth.To be able to play music from my own devices. Buttons should be easier to see and use.

This was a gift for my son. He absolutely loves it!

I bought this for a trip, and was not disappointed. It's small and light enough to easily bring on a plane in a carry-on bag without weighing it down or sacrificing any space. Setup was a breeze, and for the size I was impressed by the sound. Definitely recommend.
