    The Roam sounds great and looks cool. My only criticism is it is very challenging to set up the Sonos 2 system while trying to simultaneously maintain a separate Sonos 1 system with legacy products that are incompatible with Sonos 2

    I've had Sonos speakers for over 5 years and I've put up with the set up and operating difficulty (has anyone really figured out how to use with Alexa?) because of the great sound. The Roam fits that classic Sonos model -- expensive, unintuitive and difficult to operate. In this case, setting it up on WiFi was relatively easy (after some adjustments to my Sonos system), Bluetooth was not and to top it off this one didn't' work -- just crackling coming out the speaker. Going right back!

    Once we linked it to our main Sonos all went well. We had to call customer service to learn this as we purchased it and were not near our main receiver so it wouldn’t work until we set it up.
