How something so tiny can produce such great sound is astounding. Love it - use it in two different rooms - it's so easy to move and use. btw, after setup I ditch the Sonos app and just use Spotify and Tunein on my iPhone to select/control the speaker.

I would probably give this more like 3.5 stars if I could. Don't get me wrong, the sound is very good. However, it's probably not worth the extra money for the sound. You can get something comparable for less money. This would likely be more worth it if you already have a Sonos setup, and would like to add to it. And, the battery life is horrible. I used it once for an hour, set it down for a week, only to attempt to turn it on finding out it was completely dead. It was fully charged prior to the first use. Sadly, I will be returning it for something else.

The Roam has the usual stellar sound and ease of use that I've come to expect from all Sonos products. Big sound for such a little device, and even when I turn it way up, its still crystal clear. Great for days when you're puttering around outdoors working on something.

Great sound out of a small speaker. Not the easiest to set up. Sonos needs to do a better job with that. Overall good speaker.

Device is a bit pricey but for what you get I think the price is well warranted. I've had the speaker for about a year and a half now and it's been all over the world with me. Life isn't the best but the sound quality of produces is pretty good.

Sound is great as most Sonos products. Had to go to the internet to find out how to keep the battery from draining. The problem was solved by reading the Sonos blogs. Turns out you need to turn off the device fully, by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. The battery drains in sleep mode and , when you go to the app, the device turns on without notice. Shouldn’t have had to look for the solution, should be part of the details in the instructions. I still like the speaker though. By the way, make sure you get the proper charging brick or it takes forever to charge.

We recently had a Sonos system installed in our guest bedroom and wanted to be able to access the system on our back deck. This seemed to be the perfect solution for us and with a little help from our son-in-law and grandson, who set it up we now can enjoy music on our deck.

Great sounding, compact, portable speaker. The speaker will loose its charge if you don't make sure it is completely powered down. My only complaint.

I purchased my Sonos sound system about 9 years ago. Recently I purchased a Sonos Roam. What a great addition. The portability is amazing. I take it with me in my car, on the golf cart and have it with me when the firepit is glowing. I highly recommend.

Great little speaker that is fully compatible with a Sonos system, but also works well as a standalone/bluetooth speaker anywhere. Does not have to be connected to a network to play music on the go. The sound is very good - it doesn't get quite as loud as comparably-sized/priced speakers like the Bose SoundFlex, but if you want a speaker that works with your Sonos system and gives you all the benefits of a small portable, this is a great choice. It is wireless and rechargeable with good battery life, plus has a good waterproof/shock/dust rating so it's rugged - ready to take along and use anywhere. Has Alexa and Google Assistant built-in, which you set up through the Sonos app. I will say that the Alexa functionality stopped working so we need to troubleshoot that function. But when set up and working, the Alexa functionality is great.

The Sonos Roam is an awesome addition to the Sonos ecosystem! Superior sound from a small Wi Fi and Blue tooth portable speaker that weighs only one pound. Enjoy the crisp, clear sound where ever you roam!

This was one of my Christmas wish items and boy did it not dissapoint. One thing i will recommend to anyone purchasing this. After upu connect it to your wifi theough the Sonos app, make aure you pair it through bluetooth also. This lottle guy has some serious sound and is so convenient to take anywhere.

Great little sonos speaker. Awesome addition to the home audio that you can take with you. Sounds good and the auto truplay is really cool. Had a bit of trouble getting it to pair with Bluetooth and required a software update. This is my only complaint

This is the best sounding speaker in this form factor that I have found. I use this when riding my bike, in the office, or as a laptop speaker system. It's a bit pricey but well worth the investment.

The Sonos Roam is an impressive portable speaker that offers an excellent combination of affordability, exceptional sound quality, and long battery life. As someone who has tried out many portable speakers over the years, I can confidently say that the Roam stands out from the pack.

Sound quality is great. I wish using it optimally didn't require downloading ANOTHER app (the Sonos app).

This unit was easy to set up and connects with other Sonos speakers. The unit tunes itself to the environment it is in and has a big sound with rich bass. Only drawback is the power button on the back can be a bit difficult when powering down.

I was hesitant about this speaker due to reviews online. But i love Sonos products so i thought i can return it if i don’t like it. Well, I love it. The sound is clear and the volume loudness is just right.

Great sound! This unit has exceptional battery life while still being light and keeping with the standards SONOS products are known for. Can be used solo or synced with other SONOS devices to cover an area inside or outside that was lacking access.
