Kept Shutting Down

Battery drained from 100% to 50% in 3 days with maybe just 30 minutes of music playing. After that, it kept turning itself off after playing music for a few seconds even after a full charge. Tried factory reset to no avail. I hope they resolve this so I can buy it again someday. I ended up returning it since it wasn't working.

Here are a few tips to help preserve Roam's battery life: make sure you are powering down when not in use (hold power button full 5 seconds), disable any voice assistants when not plugged in, and ensure that you are charging with a 7.5W or higher charger. We hope you decide to give it another chance. A software release for Roam has been released.

However, this was not a great example of Sonos products. Other portable speakers are of better quality for much cheaper.

I would do a plug in sound bar if I had 500 bucks I didn’t need. For the price the speaker works for us. B T connection takes some patience.. holding down the back mounted button for just the correct number of seconds for instance. Also have to remember to turn off my iPhones B T so the speaker doesn’t connect with it before the speaker pair’s. Finally, finally the speaker plays the goofiest sound every morning and I have to turn the speaker off. Go figure this after turning it off when we sleep…obnoxious!
