Awesome sound, portable, and all around speaker of use.

Excellent sound quality as all things from sonos has.

I like this speaker very much with one big caveat. Our home has multiple wi-fi hubs. Occasionally, despite the Roam staying in the same place, it will try to connect to a different hub. When this happens the sound will stop even though my phone shows that it is still playing. This is a known issue to Sonos. While they are working on a fix, the only solution they currently offer is to hold the power button for 12 seconds and then turn it back on – thus doing a hard reset. Given that there is no way to predict when it'll stop playing music and the time it takes to reset it, I would not recommend purchasing this product. It took multiple calls with their support team to arrive at this answer. Sadly, I missed Best Buy's 15-day return window and am now stuck with a defective product. I strongly feel that this product should not be sold to customers until this known issue has been resolved!

First Sonos speaker. Nice sound although works better when connected directly to WiFi compared to when using Bluetooth. Outdoor sound not as good as expected but still overall a good speaker.

I like it so far. My Bose SoundLink BT speaker died, so I purchased this. I wish it had an aux connection, because connecting with Bluetooth (vs Sonos app) isn't the greatest.

Was a good speaker but returned it because the price still was too high for the quality and it's features. Would recommend going for a JBL Flip over this and saving the money.

I have a been a purchaser of Sonos’ smart speakers for over five years now. I have a home system comprised of Play:1 and the newer generation One speakers throughout the home. I really love the Sonos brand and wanted to expand the system and add one of these to the kitchen. The idea that I could move from indoors to outdoors and take this speaker on a trip sounded perfect. This particular speaker will not connect to the Sonos system for very long. After calling Sonos’ technical support and running a diagnostic of my system, they said that they believe it is because I have “too many” devices connected to the home network and that I should look to reduce the number of devices in the network and change WiFi channels. Nothing they recommended, works. However, I have five other Sonos speakers connected to the Sonos system and all work flawlessly. In addition to my WiFi connection issues, the Bluetooth function rarely works. Again, in speaking with Sonos’ support, I was told that I should disconnect other Bluetooth devices from my iPhone prior to connecting to the Roam as it has been known to cause poor connection performance. Searching through the Sonos forums I find that many people experience the same issues as I. The Sonos Roam, although great sounding, appears to have terrible WiFi and Bluetooth technology. I am considering returning this for credit and trying a Sonos Move.

Works well when it does. But if you leave it uncharged for days it never comes back to life. This is my 3rd unit in months. Hope it works. I found the issue I was having online. Basically no sound and volume forces its way down to 15. Even if you move it to 100 no sound. I have many other sonos products including the sonos move. All are more reliable than the sonos roam

First off, there is no charger I attempted several phone chargers and after all night charging it only got to 38% I eventually would charge it with my laptop, Secondly it will NOT last 10hrs playing music at and average volume if im lucky it might last 6hrs so their advertising is not truthful I contacted SONOS and im still waiting for a response. Im returning it back to the store and purchase JBL.

Good speaker, not as loud as I would like. Has to be reconnected to bluetooth after 24 hours doesn’t stay connected
