A very nice product. Not the least expensive portable, waterproof speaker but it sounds great for its size and the ability to use Alexa is really nice. No need to go back to a receiver inside to change genres or ambums. Very pleased. Just recognize that it cannot serve as a surround in its spare time.

I have a Sonos sound system in my apartment so I know the high quality and excellence of a Sonos speaker. Never thought the Roam Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker would equally impress. I LOVE this little speaker. Small yet powerful with great Sonos sound!

I love this little guy. It is beautiful to behold and very easy to use, thoroughly portable everywhere in my house and even works on my back porch. The sound quality is way better than I expected and I’m slowly getting to know all the things it can do. It is definitely worth the money and I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In the limited time I have had this speaker I have found it to be better than expected. Great sound! I highly recommend it.

I recently switched my home audio to Sonos and have been so pleased by the ease of use and quality. Bought this speaker for travel but use in my office when at home. It swaps between Bluetooth and my Wi-Fi Sonos network with no effort. And for a small speaker it can really rock the highs and lows. Great buy!

Great little speaker. Awesome sound quality for the size. When I am not using it in the shower, it is sitting on my dresser in my bedroom. It enhances the sound when I walk back and forth from the other rooms (I have larger Sonos speakers in every room) in my condo to my bedroom.

Compact and powerful sound. Tied into my Sonos system without any problem. And vluetooth works good. The black unit also has black buttons which makes it difficult to see and/or to fund the buttons. If the buttons had lighter colored markings on them then this would be a non issue.

This is the first truly portable wireless speaker I have had that seamlessly moves between WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is my third Sonos speaker and set up was consistent with the previous two. The only hiccup was that tapping my phone against the speaker to use NFC set up did not work, so I had to enter an almost unreadable PIN # from the speaker bottom into my app. The sound is good for a speaker this size and comparable to my Bose SoundLink Mini. The big advantage it has is being able to be operated from anywhere in the house just by opening my Sonos app. Another bonus is that it can also be charged with any wireless charger, not just the proprietary one that Sonos sells separately.

I’ve had connection problems from the start with this. And now it won’t charge. I had loved my Sonos products but this one I don’t. And now, I’m having connection problems with all of my Sonos devices. This is a know issue that Sonos has still not resolved. As of now, a couple thousand dollars worth of paperweights. I would not recommend ANY Sonos products anymore.

This speaker is a great portable speaker and was a lot smaller than expected, which makes it easy to travel with. For the size it sounds nice and definitely excels at home when using the Sonos app.

The Sonos Roam is a fantastic speaker. This is my first Sonos and I was blown away by the sound quality produced. The battery is a little lackluster, but that's because it constantly listens to its surroundings in order to produce the most balanced sound possible. Once its been established, you can turn this off however.

Good sound quality for its size. Hard for me to tell if it was on, asleep, or off. More than once I went to use it and found its battery drained. I like to use Apple Music and SiriusXM. The interface for both was way worse in the Sonos app than using the "real" apps. Ugly, slow to navigate, and Apple Music simply was missing some of my playlist entries and search was broken for me. So I ended up just using it as an Airplay 2 speaker instead. Because of that, I didn't think I was getting enough extra "Sonos" value for the price, and I ended up returning it.

This speaker is smaller than I thought it would be but the sound is good for such a small speaker. I can have it playing the same music outside as my homepods inside and I never have any issues connecting. It also has bluetooth for traveling when there is no wifi

Very happy with this speaker. Adds on easily with the Sonos app hooks to WiFi and Bluetooth effortlessly. Works great for small gatherings or using in a smaller room. It doesn’t have the room filling presents of the Sonos surround sound system or Move but is very impressive for a small speaker. Have recommended to others.
