Even when the Roam is off the power drains. I've never once gone to use it and found it charged. When I plug it in to charge it takes a pretty long time to have enough charge to turn on, so long that I usually give up or find something else to use.

Posted .We're very sorry you're having a poor experience with Roam. What may help is under the room settings you can turn on batter save mode. Roam falls asleep after a few minutes of inactivity and powers on when the app is interacted with. Battery save mode on, turns Roam off completely instead of going into "sleep" mode. Also, hold the power button down for 5 seconds if you want to completely shut it off manually. We hope this helps!

Both speakers lasted exactly 19 months. Sonos told me there is nothing that can be done and I can send them both in for 30% off my next purchase. Avoid the Roam speakers. They sound great, but too expensive to be a throw away speaker. Plenty of other competitors.
