Good portable speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound. I like this connectivity with Bluetooth and WiFi. I feel the battery shouldn’t be draining a lot when the power is off. Overall, great portable speaker

Simply Boom
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This compack speaker is what everyone needs. You pay for quality and this doesn't disappoint. Light in weight. Easy to use. This is my 4 sonos product that I have. Connects to my other speakers. I might get evicted from my neighbors soon my apartment is becoming a late night club.

Great for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Roam is light weight and its compact size makes it easy for travel. The sound is great for a small portable speaker but it does not have deep bass like the Sonos Move. I have both and definitely recommend this for travel.

Great little speaker overall!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little bluetooth and WiFi speaker and makes a great little portable speaker especially if you already have existing Sonos speakers. If you don't already have Sonos, there are portable speakers with better sound though.

Great - When it Works :(
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The good news is that these sound awesome - MUCH better than my Apple HomePod minis. The bad news is that if you have two of them (as I do) they ALWAYS drop from Apple Airplay and I have to pair them EVERY time for stereo. I gave up Sonos a couple of years ago because they are so fidgety. These look and sound great so I thought I'd give it another try, but when it comes to compatibility with Apple products, apparently nothing has been resolved in the last few years.

Sonos not worth the inflated price.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wouldn't recommend this speaker at full price. The sound reminds me of the gen2 Echo from Amazon. Good enough for the size, but the Echo was $50. Even if you double the price for the battery this should cost $100. In addition, if want it for the "built in" Alexa, you will be frustrated with how poorly it responds in comparison to any Echo device. This is an "OK" product that I decided to keep rather than return, but I got it for $50 off on sale.

Great existing Sonos owners
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a no brainer if you already have a SONOS echo system. It’s my shower speaker that is water proof and sounds awesome. It also compliments my Sonos Move when I’m in the backyard. I would never recommend this If you don’t already own a Sonos or Symphonisk speaker.

Great little speaker.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are terrific. Great sound for such a small device and it’s awesome sauce that you can control Alexa thru it (and your wifi) to change stations, volume, etc without having to use your phone. Decent battery life on em and waterproof to boot. Highly recommend.

Great Sound When It’s Charged
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound - especially the bass - but battery life is not great. You are supposed to turn off Alexa to help - doesn’t that defeat the purpose??

Excellent!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic addition to the Sonos lineup. I've been using it for two weeks now and it sounds great, easy to setup, and small enough to drop in my laptop bag. If you have an iPhone, the AirDrop feature is what sets this apart from other portable speakers.

Great Addition To Sonos Ecosystem
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been immersed in the Sonos ecosystem for a while and welcome this addition! The size and portability is great. I can play it all day and use a Qi charger or plug it into a portable battery charger. And best of all I love the sound!!! Highly recommend this.

Nice little speaker for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Sonos 5 speaker and wanted to pick this one up for on the go outside/sync inside with my Sonos 5. Pros: Sounds good and the quality/simplicity of the project was what I was looking for. Love the sound of both speakers syncing together. Cons: Slow as hell to charge and doesn't seem to work with certain adapters like the USB for iPhone. Also, getting to resync last night wasn't as seamless of an experience that I wanted. The charging of this speaker is definitely my biggest gripe, but I'm going to see what adapter I can use to boost the charge time.

Requires an initial setup using the Sonos S2 app!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sounding portable speaker with decent battery life and intuitive controls, but be aware that it's not a normal bluetooth speaker but can be used as one after the initial setup. You will first need to install the Sonos S2 app on your phone to find and connect and configure this speaker, only then can you pair it with bluetooth. You must do the Sonos app first for the initia setup, otherwise the bluetooth pairing instructions will not work. This isn't clear in the instructions. Just pressing the button to initiate the bluetooth pairing (look for the flashing blue LED) won't work unless you've gone through the Sonos app process first. I think that Sonos really wants this to be part of a larger Sonos home audio solution, hence them forcing you to use the Sonos S2 app to set it up. However once you have setup the speaker in the Sonos S2 app, you can use it like a regular bluetooth speaker without the need to continue using the Sonos app and you'll be able to do normal bluetooth pairing with other devices without the additional Sonos S2 app. Note: If you have an older Sonos setup (the one that uses the Sonos S1 app), be aware that this isn't compatible with the S1 app and will not integrate with any S1 only (legacy) gear, it requires the S2 app, so you'll need to install the Sonos S2 app and setup a new system. It was a pain the the backside, but I eventually got the S2 app to install by setting up a separate account from our existing S1 installation, all that work just so I could configure this speaker to pair via bluetooth with our phones. I nearly gave up several times, it was super frustrating. Sonos really didn't do a good job anticipating (or documenting) this type of situation, and researching it online, many other people have struggled getting S2 to run along side the S1 app. I can tell you it does work, but be prepared for a bit of trial and error as Sonos doesn't seem to have documentation that clearly explains how to do this. I think they just want everyone to get rid of their old systems and move to S2. That's not in my budget and my Connect:Amps work great, so this speaker will be my only S2 device and work as a fancy, but slightly overpriced bluetooth speaker for now. We may eventually upgrade all our Connect Amps to the new Amp and move everything over to S2, but for now, this works fine.
