Sonos is to retail shopping what Amazon has done to the world.

Definitely worth buying. I was very curious about how the sound quality would be coming from such a small device but it sounds amazing! I have several Sonos SL speakers throughout my house. I keep the Roam plugged into power in my living room and basically treat it like a SL when playing the same tunes throughout the house, then if I go outside to BBQ or mow, I unplug and bring it with me. Anyone who has multiple SL's I would recommend trying this. It's a better option then buying another SL.

Easy to connect (both via Bluetooth and on an existing home Sonos network) and great sound.

Stopped connecting to our Sonos system fairly quickly and can't seem to get it reset. It takes too much time to keep trying. Maybe it was just a lemon. It also was less loud than the Sonos One. We got it to use by the pool, but it just doesn't do the job. We use a Sonos One instead.

When it's working it's sounds great, it does drop off our Sonos network often and sometimes has to be reset multiple times to work but lately it's been working well, even using Bluetooth. Battery life is very good for such a small device.

I really enjoy the ability to use both the app on wifi or using bluetooth. Such a great compact speaker with great sound.

+airplay 2 + Bluetooth - The battery on this product is trash. Every time I want to use it its dead and I manually power is off between uses. - I cannot believe how Sonos s2 ecosystem has become. I used to have Bose sound touch systems (and thought that was bad) and moved to Sonos and Sonos has become buggy now. (Bose’s new smart home system works better then my Sonos gear.) -I bought this as a 2nd try on Sonos and it sounds ok but the tweeter crackles when you use Spotify connect and the volume “steps” on Spotify connect is too annoying. This seems like a decent first try for a portable Sonos but I would wait for the next version. This one feels half baked. Summary: It is priced exactly as it should. At 169$ the bugs can be forgiven. Under 200$ Perfection is not expected. Good enough is the “new normal”
