I bought this speaker mainly for attending calls. The voice of the person speaking on the other side is so clear and now I am using it to watch movies as well. Its a little pricey but I feel it is worth if you are looking for using it in calls to avoid earphones for a longer duration in a day. The power switch could have been better. This one button for everything, sometimes becomes difficult to connect to bluetooth.

I was originally concerned that the sound quality wouldn't live up to what I have come to expect from Sonos. How could a portable speaker this small possibly have great sound? I was just hopeful that it would be adequate enough to replace my Bose for the golf cart. I'm happy to report that it is everything I hoped for and more. For the size and price, it is as good or better than anything comparable on the market.

Its been a great add on to my current sonos system of over 15 speakers. Couldnt live a day without it.

Sounds great when I can get it to stay recognized in my app…which then I have had to factory reset to get it to be able to pair with the Sonos app again. I think after the fifth time I need to ditch this sad product. Can’t really fairly rate battery life or range but that’s exactly why this is the worst portable speaker I’ve ever known. BOO. Plus…I’m kind of over the Sonos One because who needs another darn app???

I'm happy so far with my Sonos Roam. It was easy to set up with the Sonos app (Gen 2) and to connect my Google Home app to use Google Assistant. It is responsive to voice commands and the music quality is decent for the size of the speaker.

i'm in the Sonos eco system so this was a good fit for me. you can group it with any of your other sonos speakers of course, only negative would be the 10hr battery life. I purchased on sale so it was a good deal.

Sonos Roam is a compact and great sounding (for its size) speaker that connects via Bluetooth as well as your Sonos network. It feels solid and has the usual excellent design and build quality that Sonos products are known for. Connects to the network instantly - switches to Bluetooth seamlessly and battery lasts at least 5 hours - probably more but haven't had the chance to use for longer periods quite yet.

Sonos is a complicated product. We have three Sonos speakers (one of them a soundbar) and so I thought this would be a good addition. Sound is OK but not great. Battery life is exceptional. Ity has Bluetooth and wifi so you can airplay or connect all speakers together. Connecting all four speakers was a real technical challenge and finally had to call Tech support, which is easy to get hold of) and it took us 30 minutes to finally connect all four speakers. Problem is that since the other speakers are bigger (intermediate size), this speaker was a serious mismatch. It is OK as a Bluetooth speaker, but significantly over-priced compared to Anker or Bose.

I've always been a big fan of Sonos and this one may be little but packs big rich sound.
