Not as good as the Bose 700 sub. I only kept this item for a day and got rid of it the next. I replaced the whole sonos system by going with Bose. The most sub would shake my house while the sons lacks base.

The item has a crack at the top. Attaching the picture. Not sure if it was shipped in the same state by Sonos or cracked at Best Buy center.

I love my sub 3. I’ve spent maybe a total of 4 months reading online reviews (reddit, smarthome sounds, peterpee) and conducting stress tests between this one, the sub 4 and the sub mini. The sub mini is awesome for 90% of people, because its smaller and sealed, which makes its bass tones slightly more accurate when playing music. The sub 3 can be described as having a heavier hand when it comes to the same bass tones. Bass is around 2x louder, but not as refined as the sub mini when you turn it up. If you love bass. My use cases are in my living room for atmos content and in my home gym for workout music. Indoors or out, this mf is crazy. 10/10 would recommend. Ps. My only gripe is the cost

I love the deep bass and modern design of this subwoofer. It was a great addition to my Arc soundbar and to my exterior terrace sound system. It get concert quality sound. A lot more bass than expected and with the ease of setup and self powered wireless option this sub is in a class of its own. I highly recommend to buy with the Arc sound bar because both combined completely change your TV sound experience.

We have been waiting to get a home theater system for a while now and I’m glad I picked up this one. I’ve done lots of research and I like how the white color matches our decor. You won’t find too many white sound bars out there. The sound quality is top notch as I tested it with a variety of audio/video sources. The atmos is very convincing even though it uses a bounce off the wall technique. It really sounds like things are coming from above. The subwoofer is strong without being too base heavy that it distorts the sound. It adds a depth that we truly enjoy. Set up is wireless and easy to do.

It was time for me to upgrade my home speaker system. I started researching various brands. I had tested the SONOS set at a bestbuy store but wasn't feeling it (It probably wasn't tuned well) and moved on to researching other brands. I actually purchased 3 different brands (Enclave, Bose 700 soundbar and 700 subwoofer, and the Klipsch WiSA wireless speakers) and tested all 3 at home. I ended up settling with the Bose soundbar 700 and the 700 subwoofer. I kid you not, the Bose was very very solid. Then I visited a friend who had SONOS system all over his home (properly tuned), and the sound the sound was mind blowing. Incredibly reach and the subwoofer was the bomb. I got back home and purchased the SONOS Arc, the Gen 3 arc and surround speakers. Set it up and tuned the system appropriately and man, this thing is a beast!!! When the wife at home who knows nothing about sound systems, heard the SONOS, she herself packed the Bose 700 and told me to take it back to the store LOL. I tell you this folks, this is the best and the only sound system you will ever need!!! Believe me, I have tested others side-by-side, they are not match.

Found this gen 3 on sale decided to give it a try cuz I have three gen fours in use in my home currently the Gen 3 didn't disappoint connecting was a breeze just like the Gen 4 and it sounds phenomenal clean powerful floor shaking bass only real difference I can tell is the appearance Gen 4 has a a flat matte finish in the Gen 3 is a shiny piano finish would definitely buy again if you can find one don't hesitate pain relief to grab it up and save yourself a few dollars

We got the Arc soundbar, sub woofer, and two surround speakers over Thanksgiving. Setup was very simple, calliberation was a breeze, it was up and running in less than 10 minutes. The best part is that there were no wires invilved, its all wireless. The sound experience is amazing, our living room is completely transformed. I was little apprehensive about the performance as I have an open layout with high celings, but this is just awesome. I would definitely recommend it over other soundbars.

I really like how easy the setup is. Adding the sub to my Sonos Arc was seamless, and repeating the room tuning equally seamless. The sub has very satisfying bass; movies get that much more immersive. I wouldn't go so far to call it audiophile grade, but I am very satisfied. There is one aspect that I do not like though, which is the glossy finish. Not enough to take away a star, just a personal aesthetic preference.
