I had the Arc and two Ones. Everybody says you need the Sub to complete the system. And they were right! The Sub makes the Arc sound better and elevates it to another level. I got this new Gen 3 because I wanted to future proof. I could not believe the bass this thing gave off! We love listening to music and watching movies. So much easier than a traditional surround system. Definitely get this, it's worth the huge price tag!

This is a very expensive sub woofer which produces a very good low frequency. It fills up the room and it's a must-addition to a Beam and 2 One speakers. The separation of low frequency can be easily and clearly heard. What I was disappointed was lacking the punch and thump of kick drum. I wish there's EQ in the app to tune that specifically. Overall the music is very balanced. I just like a tiny bit more punch in the kick drum. This sub is expensive in my opinion. So if there's discount or open boxed one, take advantage of it.

Very deep bass, great quality sound. Syncs fast and easy. Very compatible with my Sonos system. Would definitely recommend.

This sub is one of the best sounding subs I have heard. Although a little pricey, it is worth it. It hits hard, clear and precise. I have the gen 2 sub as well and know that the only main changes are the increased memory and better processor in the gen 3 but it hits harder and louder for some reason. I have to set the gen 2 to +3 bass to match the gen 3 on zero. This is after true play has tuned it. Pairing this with a couple of play 3’s and play 5’s and you will not be disappointed.

This is a must have when pairing with Sonos Sound Bar. It has no base at all. But with this sub it changed the whole dynamic. By far the best cleanest base I have heard by far

The sub woofer adds great bass and realistic sound to movies. The fact that it’s wireless is really helpful in helping you tuck it out of site.

Purchased this sub to use with Sonos Beam Shadow Edition (Gen 1). The Sonos beam itself was fine, but we were used to deep base. The soundbar alone lacked deep base tones & we really missed the "home theater" experience. Purchased this sub & it delivers! It took a little while to mess with the app & get the sound adjusted to our liking. But, it's perfect now! The only thing we disliked was the price. It's a bit pricey, but is quality built & very heavy.

I already have 2 of them in other places. I purchased the Sonos amp and some bowers and Wilkens speakers. The subwoofer provided the extra bass plus some! I was able to turn down the base going to the speakers and Mann does it sound good together!

Great sound and the fact that it ties in to the Sonos speaker bar thru bluetooth minimizes the use of extra wiring.

You don't know what you've been missing until you add this to your home theater. It was easy to set up, and the sound is fantastic.

Deep, rich, room filling sound, extremely easy to set up. No rattle, just smooth and clean bass.

Having this subwoofer is almost a must have (if you have the money for it). The added quality of bass is ridiculous. The bass you get with this added is not distorted at high volumes. It also isn't simply the type of subwoofer that can make a room shake. It provides a type of richness to the bass quality that I frankly have not experienced before. Although sonos products without the subwoofer do have appreciable high quality bass that allow them to stand on their own, adding this product really does take your setup to the next level.

Love it, you need to buy one to understand why. The Sub will definitely help your Sonos system, it's expensive but good.

If you are here - you know how great Sonos products are. Of course when they started - they were magical - streaming music wasn't even a thing. But amazingly they have stayed true to mission - and some 15 or so years later are still class leading. Premium quality product with a premium price - sort of like Apple. To the sub - goes deep, loud - flawlessly. Connect wired or wirelessly to your other Sonos devices, and blends in audibly and visually in your room. Is it expensive? Of course! Worth it - you bet.

I did have a Bose 700 w/sub & the Sonos ARC w/sub knocks it out of the park. Very easy setup to get things going. Plug & play basically.

Awesome sub. The entire Sonos ecosystem is terrific. I bought one sub and came back to buy a second and the two really pack a punch. Not cheap but nice quality.
