Sonos products do not disappoint and this paired with a soundbar worked beautifully for our living room. Our floor area is an open concept and these sonos products just immerse the area in great sound. This is a great buy.

*I purchased this alongside the Sonos Arc Soundbar* Incredible depth and immersion especially with music and movies. Live sports also have a deeper feel with the wide bass range. The only tricky thing with the system was figuring out where to place the sub for best sound experience. This is a no brainer if you are buying a Sonos sound bar.

This was the last component missing from having enough Sonos speakers for a surround system. Have it under an end table next to the couch. Love having the added depth of sound it gives. I actually think it outperforms my old system of Polk speakers and an Onkyo receiver. The most simple way to add surround sound and not have to run cables or drill holes in your ceiling. Highly recommend.

Oh my gosh - I love this thing! Worth every penny - the bass is exactly what I want the bass to be - it adds depth and richness to the sound and just adds something really rich to my morning coffee. I got the ones also and my wife was amazed - she now enjoys waking up to me listening to morning quiet time music - that's not easy to achieve. The Sonos Arc is the next purchase... here we go!

A must if you have an Arc or Beam

Have an Arc or Beam? If so, you are not getting the full Sonos experience without the Sub. While both of those products do provide an amazing sound without the Sub, the lows just don't exist. Setup of the Sub was super easy and one time watching a movie or sports with it connected, there was no going back. Yeah, it's expensive, but worth it.

Probably more like 4.5 stars. It’s a good addition to some much needed bass in the Sonos soundbar family. Using it with my PlayBar and two Play:1 speakers as rear surrounds. Bass is deep and room moving but can get a little muddy occasionally, but truthfully helps a lot. At full price this sub is way overpriced but they had it at $200 off at Christmas it made it a decent value (but still pricey). An added bonus is it is very good looking and the finish is a piano grade black gloss that is so good looking that I put it near our modern chairs as an accent piece rather than hide it in the corner!

Why wouldn’t I buy the Sonos Sub to go with my Era 100s and the Arc Soundbar. What a difference adding this sub has made! I could almost call in to work and just watch movies and tv all day!

Bought this to go with my new Sonos Arc yo create a full surround with play ones and rears. The sub is well balanced and packs a punch. I lowered the EQ to -2 after Trueplay and it really helps to balance out the system so the bad seamless blends in with the rest of the sound. Great purchase especially if you have the Arc

Added this 2nd sub to my ARC suround system, debated for a while on doing so, so happy i did. The single sub was amazing but adding the second created even more of an immersed experience!!!

I got this working with a SONOS Playbar after a software update. The bass is good but not as good as my KEF cube 12b. I never felt the Sub was adjusted perfectly and the adjustments you can make are limited by the SONOS app. Also, during setup it asks you to tap your phone on the side of the Sub. This never worked. I'm not happy with the stereo separation on the Playbar - all the sound seems to come from the center channel. Although everything worked as specified I was not happy with the combination and decided to retire my Playbar and return the Sub. The Sub is a great product and worked as advertised but the combination with the Playbar did not deliver the experience I wanted. Replaced with KEF LS50W and KEF cube 12b.

This subwoofer produces clean articulated bass very well balanced and gives detail to both of my sonos five speaker's. The bass level is on 0 and it sounds amazing I will give it time to break in to raise it up.

The sub made a really big difference to the sound of the system. It’s very well built and looks nice. The only negative thing is the price. I’m sure everyone has had that same filling about it. It’s way over priced for a sub for a system. I love everything else about the system. Just had to buy in stages because of the price on some of the pieces to put the system together for my place.

When connected to the Sonos Arc this sub is amazing ... it produces a tight bass that's perfect for an AV system ... can't imagine having the Arc without this sub ... worth the cost in the long run ... they are seamless in their integration

Love this subwoofer. Paired it with a Sonos sound bar and it adds great bass tones to the TV sound effects. In the Sonos App, you can easily adjust how deep and how rich your bass tones come through. When playing music on my Sonos network of speakers, you can push the music through the sounder/subwoofer making my media room the sound highlight of the day.

I had already purchased the Sonos Arc and two Sonos SL Ones and they sounded good, but when I add the Sonos Gen 3 sub the sound was taken to another level. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound and quality of the sub woofer and it definitely adds the bass that I was missing.
