Depending on your room size it works very well. I have it in the office and it works well. Even though it is pretty expensive it is worth the $$$. For a main TV room system I would recommend the Sub Gen 3 (which is $370 more). The setup is very easy - all Sonos products are very easy to set up using the FREE downloaded app SONOS (IOS).

Great sub for sonos arc

The bass is still strong, just not as impactful as the reguler sonos sub. Also to note, this cannot be combined with another sub in the same room. This is worth the price!
