Output great bass if you are near it, but did not fill my large room with bass as I had hoped. Would be best for a bedroom or small tv room. Be advised when you add a sub to Sonos, the small speakers crossover will change and divert all bass to the sub. I found my speakers lacking any bass at all once adding the sub. Removing the sub restored the bass to the speakers.

Only regret is need more total volume but that is more on the Beam 2. Not this sub. At normal levels the sound is awesome .
