The sub has great bass and is easy to set up, work great with my Samsung tv.

What a huge difference this sub makes when paired with the playbar. The playbar itself is no chump, but putting this guy into the mix creates a huge dynamic atmosphere. Even at normal setting, this guy can rattle the walls of my living room with the right movie in the Blu-ray player. It's essential if you want that sort of theater like experience. Well worth the price of admission.

I bought the entire system as a Christmas present for my husband. He absolutely loves it. The ease to set it up was simple and the quality of the system is terrific. We actually feel like we're in the movie! The slightest click of a key in a lock to a footstep of subtle sounds, all the way up to the boom and thunder of action movies, makes watching TV even more enjoyable.

Bought the Sonos 5.1 Home theater system. My family room is huge with one of the wall being half open leading into cafe nook & kitchen. Hence was a little apprehensive about Sonos ability to fill my room with high quality sound. I am glad it did not disappoint me. Absolutely enjoying the music in my room. Extremely crisp and clear even at max volume. No distortion of sound.

This sub is awesome!!! This just adds to the already great sonos sound bar, together they make for an awesome home theater experience. The sub and sound bar together can be controlled from an existing remote or with your smartphone or tablet. You can adjust the sub to your liking or there is an auto adjust setting. You will not be disappointed with this sub, deep, low, bass.

I thought my play5 gave me great musical sound. The subwoofer fills in the music with great depth. Don't know why I wanted so long to get one. If you have Sonos, you know you are in for a great experience. Plan to add the play bar. Does not compete with my system downstairs, but that system cost about 8x the Sonos. Way outperforms Bose and highly recommended.
