This is by far the best sounding subwoofer that we tested. Movie theater sound at home!

While originally, I was a bit surprised at the price of the sub-woofer, it's just how Sonos pricing is, and it's worth it. Out of the many systems, 7.1 surround sound headphones with bass that would vibrate a table, and almost any home theater system I've ever used (including a home with an actual theater I stayed in one time), this sub-woofer provides a quality you can feel in your gut when the explosions start to go off or when the music gets louder. After using the device with the rest of my Sonos sound system (the Sub-woofer, two Play 3's, and a Playbar), it became readily apparent why I paid what I did. I couldn't have asked for a better sub-woofer. The entire setup might have cost just shy of 2300 with insurance, but (if I had the money) I would gladly have paid twice what I did for the unbelievable quality in this sub-woofer if it was going to be a part of that system.

You don't buy Sonos because they are cheap but this is by far the best, compact stereo sub solution on the market. I have had systems since I was a teenager and the technology, sound and simplicity of this brand is amazing Great thumper!

I was looking at this purchase very carefully. With a 2k price tag you want to make sure that you due your due diligence. It was easy to set up, and the sound is very good. My condo in Florida has all stone floors and the ability to have a great wireless system was everything.

My expectation for anything Sonos is ease-of-use great sound. This item lives up to expectations. Was a breeze to install. Sounds great and adds great depth to the surroundsound experience. As far as I'm concerned, it was well worth the price. Would gladly purchase again.

I love everything about my Sonos system. In our living room we have two Play 5 speakers. Since adding the sub-woofer, the music is highly enhanced, especially the base, and the sound fills the large room much more dramatically. A great investment.

The sonos sub has rich bass sound, really compliments the playbar. A MUST have.
