You get to set sound preferences up front, but if you want to change that later it's easy! Definitely recommend!

Powerful subwoofer

The volume doesn't need to be very high in order for you to hear the quality in that woofer. I bought the two small speakers and the sound bar/play bar and I could not be happier these are great quality speakers.
