A fabulous sounding subwoofer with a really great build quality. It can be felt throughout the house!

If you get a Play Bar you will want this. It has more bass than you will need and easily fills a room. If you have a Sonos setup you're used to the high price so $700 for a sub shouldn't be a stretch. Seamless setup and great performance.

First heard the sound of the system at a friends business and had to immediately do some research as I couldn't believe the sound quality that was coming from the Play1 as compared to all the other small wireless sound systems. I started with buying just two Play1's and then a week later I went all in and bought two play 3's, soundbar, and submwoofer...man is the sound quality great. My next buy is the Play5 for my office.

The bass this puts off makes you feel like your right there in the movie. Cant be the quality.

I compared, in many areas, this sub and another major brand. I believe that you get what you pay for and this delivers. I plugged this sub in and turned on my tv. After a few easy steps my ears were being delighted in deep, rich tones that bought my tv screen to life. I hear every sound from cartoons to action packed movies, the sound of this does not fail! I'm glad I chose Sonos. In my opinion, there is no competition.

Sounds amazing, but expensive and I don't like that it requires an app to use some features.

Pros: Produces great, but not overwhelming base. Good for a small to medium sized room Install couldn't be simpler No hardwiring requiring. can turn the sub off via the app or website if your spouse is watching TV late at night Did I mention no wires? Cons: Not the strongest sub for loud parties requiring lots of bass (still produces impressive low frequencies at medium-loud volumes in a medium sized room)

This subwoofer sounds great paired with the Sonos Playbar. Setup is quick and easy as well.
