Bought it for the boom and love it for the boom. It's also just the best looking subwoofer their is. Sonos is the best for music and movies.

We have three (3) Play 5's and a SUB in my Sonos system all on the main level of a ranch home. Spent about two weeks with the Play 5's only after receiving for a Xmas gift. They sounded great and worked well as my primary music player. Also, ran a line-in from my Samsung TV to one of the play 5"s (sounds better than the TV speakers). After reading reviews of the SUB, I decided to find one and add it to my system. The improvement was immediate, the sub adds the thump you need to truly enjoy the music and TV. Two thumbs up and I would highly recommend.

Didn't think I'd like this bass this much. It fills the room with the low end, without wires.

Just received my sub after purchasing the playbar and I have to say WOW its a great add on . The sound bar was great before but now the base is strong. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny I think.

Read the reviews, this thing is amazing. I have the center channel as well and they are both worth every penny. Total eye opener. If you are willing to drop $1500 plus on a flat screen then don't skimp on a cheap sound bar. In my opinion it's the missing piece to the whole audio/visual experience.

If your looking for a Sub, either wireless or wired this is a NO BRAINER! The sound quality is AMAZING and fully adjustable! Once you buy you will be HOOKED on Sonos! I have it running with a Play 5 and will soon have it hooked up to the Soundbar! If your in the market for a sub this is amazing!

Decent wireless sub and good for easy/quick addition of sub to system but doesn't play very low, doesn't have a very flat frequency response and really isn't capable of enough output for anything but a small room or very moderate listening levels. Good for a novice user and better than nothing but $700 can get you a hell of a lot more sub for the money from a traditional wired box.

It definitely makes the sonos playbar so much more enjoyable and its nice that you can control it with your smart phone. I would recommend this to anyone that has a sonos playbar, play:3 and 5!!!

I went with the Playbar alone for about a month before I broke down and bought the sub. It makes a huge difference - I highly recommend adding this sub to anyone just using the Playbar. I only gave it 4 stars because I don't think the price make this a great value, but it does improve your home audio experience.

Excellent purchase! This system is awesome. From watching TV to movies to streaming music . The clarity and tones cannot be beat! No pun intended.

We found it was necessary to ratchet up the sub level to hear the amount of bass we were accustomed to with our former Bose system. We love the Sonos system. The ease of changing from music to tv sound and playing all our digital music from our devices in different rooms was the selling point for us.

Pro's Slim profile Little vibration even at high volume levels Product finish was great. Got the glossy black finish and was truly happy. Con System as a whole still lscks youtube direct play which would be nice alternative to pandora

I really like the sound on this as it does a good job of making it feel like surround sound during movies, etc. and it does a good job with music as well.

in store the sound was great but you need to connect to the internet using a data port to get the system to setup and work cannot be useed with a MiFi from Verizon
