I bought the Samsung one. I am of sure the model but it was $1,400. This Sonos setup blows it away. Plus I never had Alexa. This system turned me on to that. Easy to set up and works.

I owned two Bose lifestyle systems and this subwoofer blows both of those subwoofers out of the water. Stylish and compact, delivers deep rich bass that will shake your whole house.

The Sonos system I purchased is fantastic. I got the Sub, Soundbar and two play 1's. It was super easy to set up and the sound quality is great. It actually took me longer to find the optical port on my wall mounted tv, than it did to set up the entire sound system. Would absolutely recommend this system to others. It's great sound with the ability to scale it in other parts of your home. Hoping they come out with an outdoor solution at some point.

I bought the Sub to pair with my Playbar. I was a little surprised at first that the sub was priced the same as the Playbar itself. Once I had it up and going (which only took a few minutes), I can see why. This thing can handle some pretty serious lows and will bring an entire new appreciation for movies and music. I was using a cheap Samsung soundbar and wireless sub before this and there is no comparison! There is virtually no rattle that comes from this. It's built very well and has a nice weight. This thing absolutely rocks! I wouldn't suggest it if you live in a small apartment and share a wall with a neighbor.

If you enjoy the Base sound and feeling you will enjoy the Base set up, with Sonus soft ware it is very easy to adjust, from very little to more base than I can normally handle. Sound Base is not loud, but it is commanding. Once your set up, it is very easy to adjust. I have my set to about 3/4 and turn it of and on with an electrical switch, so the unit is not on all the time, usually just for and with music.

I currently have the playbar, 2 play 1’s and was looking into buying the sub for some time to complete the surround system however was waiting till Sonos gave promotional pricing on it. I came across an open box sub on bestbuy.com and read the reviews and description to determine whether or not it was a quality buy being “barely used”. I received the package 3 days earlier than expected and the sub looked like it was never used, all components were in the box, no scratches and works great! It makes a huge difference when listening to music and watching movies- I would highly recommend it to anyone with an existing Sonos system!

This is just what I expected from a subwoofer. Not only did I get a much deeper bass, but it cleaned up the sound coming from my other speaker. Setup was as easy as could be.

My house was pre-wired for home theater and whole house surround. I priced both options and elected to go with the Sonos system for my house due to the sound quality and ease of set-up. The hardest part of this set-up may have been the unboxing all of the equipment. The Sonos App walks you through the set-up step by step and was very simple. I set up surround sound home theater and 4 additional rooms in less than 30 min.

This sub-woofer not only looks cool but delivers great bass. It and the sound bar are the workhorses of our home theater and do a great job without fail. SONOS is a fantastic system. We have them throughout the condo and surround in the home theater area. Easy to set up with a smart phone. Easy to turn on and off rooms. Group them or use them individually.

This subwoofer is awesome! I've got it setup with a play bar and two play ones. It's extremely powerful and the design is clean. Definitely a five star product.

Sonos 5.1 system it the talk of my family room AND NO WIRES, thats the best part of this system, planning on adding 2 more speakers for that 7.1 experience!

The Llaybass sound was awesome, but when the bass is added ... it is well worth the money! Can’t wait to get more Sonos speakers throughout the house.

Completed the 5.1 set up with this (Playbar, Sub, and two Play 1s) and couldn't be happier. Side notes for folks setting up their Sonos: Set up can be a bit tricky depending on your wifi and router set-up. I initially had an Apple Time Capsule and Airport Extreme set up in my home for wireless. Getting all of my Sonos items on to Apple products was fairly painless. Given the number of things in my house using our wifi, I purchased a Sonos Bridge to try to free up wifi space and put my kit on its own dedicated Sonos channel. The Bridge and Apple products would not play ball. I spent more than two hours on the phone with Sonos trying to troubleshoot. I ended up moving my house to a Mesh wifi system and all of a sudden the Bridge came to life. At this point, my four Sonos items are all sitting on the Bridge and work flawlessly. Absolutely killer sound, and easy to use app. The subwoofer, you could live without...the Playbar does fine on its own. However, I went from having a dedicated sub for years, to none. Once I saw the Sonos subs went on sale at Best Buy over the holidays, I grabbed one. Happy customer.

Thei is a cool looking sub. Easy to connect as is wireless. If turned up will lift you out of your seat, we don’t but really brings sound together.

I purchased the Playbar/ Sub/ 3 Play 5's/ 3 Play 3's: It's hard to describe the sound quality of these speakers and how it fills the room without being intrusive. We have elevated ceilings and the sound from the Play 5's sound fills the space with the right amount of base and treble. The only way I can describe it is as if you don't know where the sound is coming from when you walk into the house, it's pretty awesome! The setup is extremely user friendly, almost effortless. The play bar and sub can be played at low levels and movie conversations still audible. The sound doesn't go to extremes when commercials come on which is nice on the ears. The surround sound system has settings for rear speakers (in feet) close, medium, or far distance to adjust the sound in relation to your viewing position of TV. I've had the Sonos a little over 1 month and I am still finding out new ways to utalize their awesome app while arranging Play 1's in different rooms. Thanks Sonos for making such an awesome product!

I have the sub paired with 2 Play 1's in my lower level family room. I am setting the stage for adding a Playbar (but hoping an updated HDMI version is released). The sound quality of the sub is outstanding and definitely not boomy. The bass adds life to the Play 1's its grouped with. I am still on the fence if the cost - it was a sizable investment; however, the ease of use, lack of wires, and incredible sound help offset the cost (still deducting one star for cost). I would buy it again, and hope that when paired with the Playbar it adds life to movies. So far, I'm using it to listen to music, and am really enjoying it thus far.

This was a birthday gift for my wife. I chose this as a way to complete her Sonos experience. She loves how the bass compliments her Play One and Play Five. This Subwoofer can easily be adjusted using your Smart Phone. Pairing it with one or both Sonos speakers really sounds amazing at all levels.

I have the surround set up with 2 play 1s, a sound bar and this sub. Each of the speakers carry solid base individually but, adding in the Sub changes the game. When listening to music, it back fills the room nicely...when watching a movie, it delivers a punch you did not see coming. It is stylish, well built, easy to integrate into your set up and it does its job well.

WE purchased this item along with the sound bar and sonos 5. It does have a exceptional bass. It looks pretty cool . It was very easy to set up with the Sonos app..Pairing this with the sound bar and Sonos 5 speakers my house sounded like a movie theater. The subwoofer makes your sound system complete. It is also has a night mode feature which is awesome....
