Incredible bass! Deep and rich with no popping. Sounds better than anytging ive heard from even car audio. Music makes you feel your in a club. Movies and Tv sounds better than any movie theater I've been in! Well Worth It!

Easy setup and incredible sound. Regardless of what you are watching/listening to(movie, music, sports) it sounds great.

im sure that the sound bar would have been enough based off the showroom examples, but once you have watched a movie with full bass you cant really do it without. well done sonos, now i want the play 1 for the full 5.1

If you purchase the ARC or any other Sonos sound bar. Please add the sub, it make a night and day difference. I originally bought the ARC and wasn't overall impress for being $800. It was good but i was a little disappointed for the price. I read about the subwoofer and wow! The sound is amazing, the bass is amazing. At high volumes this will shake the hole house.

This Sub is better than expected! Crisp, Clean bass. Easy set up and made my Sonos Play 1's really Rock!!! Love this Sub!!

I love my Sonos system. I just bought a PlayBar and Play base (wanted to decide which one was best for me), a PlaySub, and two Play:1 speakers for surrounds. I don't have a lot of space where it all went, so I love that the pieces don't overpower the room looks-wise. And the sound is surprising very good. I did end up going with the PlayBar instead of the PlayBase. The PlayBase's treble was too much. Tinny isn't quite the right word, but it was a bit piercing. The PlayBar's treble is more natural sounding. I don't have it wall mounted, it just sits on the cabinet below the TV and works just fine that way. The price is worth it, I think. You aren't going to get as good sound as you could get from a true home theater system, but the compromise of not having to have wires running across your room and having a cleaner look is worth it. I also really love the integration with Google Play and Spotify. Apparently it used to have integration with Audible, but it stopped working in 2015. I can find a statement that says Audible and Sonos are committed to getting it working by the end of summer 2018, so hopefully soon it will be back up. All in all, I recommend the pieces, except the PlayBase.

Sounds great. Easy to set up. But, my wife made me hide it out of sight. Even out of sight, it still sounds great. I recommend it.

I was looking for a solution for my open concept living room and my new LG B6 4k TV... wired speakers are the best for sound quality but I entertained the wireless speakers because of problems with hooking up the rear speakers...plus for the life of me can't have consistent surround results with smart TV going to my AV receivers then to speakers. It was so easy making it all work with the sonos set. Almost plug and play! Sound is not too shabby also. Must buy I think. Plus a completely expandable set. I got a 5.1 setup.

This subwoofer sounds amazing! It has very rich bass, and no matter where I place it in my living room, you can't tell where the bass is coming from directly. It fills the space brilliantly, and adds a very warm addition to my Sonos PlayBar. I upgraded to a Sonos system from an older 5.1 component system which sported a 15" subwoofer. Not only is this new system extremely SLEEK and CLEAN looking, I actually prefer the sound for watching movies and listening to music. It is absolutely amazing.

Extremely easy to sync and setup, purchased multiple Sonos components and speakers at the same time for throughout the house - I never imagined they would be this quality or as easy to setup. Extremely user friendly. High quality sound. I am always a Marantz - Martin Logan - etc audiophile. This was for my cousin's home and I thought there was no way I would ever be impressed. I was proven wrong. Very happy for his use case.

Recently purchased an LG OLED 77 tv and wanted to pair it with a nice LG soundbar. Well that soundbar and sub didn’t work out and I am glad it did. Moved up to Sonos for soundbar and sub and surround speakers. MUCH better overall sound and truly was easy to set up. Some people reviewed it has no remote, really do not need one. App on phone connects it all then use your other remote. Simple and fast. Yes system is pricey but well worth it!!!

If you have a Playbar, I suggest upgrading with this wireless sub. I didn't think it made much of a difference at first, but now when I toggle the sub off while listening to music the difference is very noticable.

Purchase the Playbar, Sub, and two Play 1's for the 5.1 surround sound. The subwoofer sounds great; however, it is absolutely needed to go along with the Playbar. The Playbar by itself would be underwhelming.

This is a wonderful product! Easy installation, compact , and superior sound. A great addition to my system.

I have this sub paired with the Sonos beam and 2 Sonos ones in my tv room in my basement. It is a large room so the sub adds a lot of bass that the beam and ones could not do. It is very easy to adjust the bass level of the sub on the Sonos app. I usually have it set at 2 or 3 out of a possible seven levels and I can hear it on the second level of my home. Definitely recommend the sub, although it is a little pricey.

I was hesitant to spend this much for a subwoofer because I didn’t believe that it would justify the cost. But wow! Totally worth it. Adds a whole new level of depth to everything you watch and listen to.
