Costco sells the sound bar and the play 1 surround package way cheaper but they don't carry the sub. Best buy is really proud of this sub by the price. It is very nice for my bedroom... i probably would not put these in a living room unless you are a simpleton that wants good quick easy sound... but then i am really only doing this review to get Best Buy points.

Waited since September for the white model of the SUB to be released and it was worth the wait! It sits in a room where everything is white/off white. Paired it nicely with a SONOS Playbar. As expected with the SONOS products, everything works smoothly. Setup was a breeze and totally happy with the purchase. If you're on the fence about adding a SUB to a Playbar, it does make a difference, and totally worth it.

This sub is unbelievable as far as sound quality. It passes anything I have ever seen on the market. The pairing is so simple a 5 year old can do it and once you have it in place, sit back and enjoy the movie in real life, just like you were there... Sound effects are unbelievable and will blow your mind.

If you are going to purchase other Sonos speakers, I highly recommend the SUB! The depth of sound with the SUB is amazing!! Very happy with my Sonos purchases!!

First bought the sound bar and really loved it. Then, began thinking about building towards a surround sound system. The subwoofer was the next item in that quest. Easy to setup and definitely a great addition to the sound bar.....adds much more depth to music. Since then, I have added two Play 1's and now have a surround sound system. Really like the setup! I am still convinced that Sonos is by far superior in quality of sound vs. the comparable Bose product. Gave it a 4 star rating only because I am comparing it against subwoofer which is a part of my traditional/ wired stereo system located in another part of my home. The wired system includes some pretty high end components and therefore not a fair "Apple to Apple" comparison. If you are comparing Sonos to other similar/competitive products, I would definitely give Sonos a five star rating.

It is as good as I expected it to be. It literally takes less than 2 minutes to set it up. I think the price tag is high but I guess worth what you paid for.

We purchased this sub to go with our sound bar and play 1’s a month ago and we are truly blown away with the depth this added to our system! We have a theater in our home with speakers 10x the cost of the Sonos and this system can totally keep up with the bigger speakers. The build quality is amazing and the setup takes only minutes. I highly recommend this sub.

this pairs and works perfectly with the sound bar and I really recommend getting it with the Playbar! It adds a completely different level of sound and makes a huge difference! With my husband downstairs watching a movie you can feel/hear the base around the whole house but yet while down there watching it it doesnt overpower or hurt your ears with loud base.

Love our SONOS system. We bought the subwoofer to add to our existing sound bar and speakers. Gotta be the best sound system on the market as far as I am concerned. Sounds awesome and easy to set up. Love the convenience of the SONOS app and the ease of listening to music through this system as well.

I purchased a Sonos surround sound system and this subwoofer is essential. Gives the sound a depth. that reverberates and is awesome for any action movies.

Fantastic sound, vibration free design that is something you have to feel and hear to believe. The design allows the bass to move through the room with invredible punch or thickness for a sub of this design. Pairs effortlessly to the sound bar and makes for a perfect match. Wireless so it can be placed anywhere. Super happy with this set up and now I am growing the Sonos system through the house.

5.1 sound quality is great! Easy to setup. I don’t know much about sub woofers but the sound is much better than my dated bose lifestyle system from 2006

The sonos subwoofer in glossy black looks beautifully modern, sets up in seconds via the sonos app, and delivers adjustable subwoofer volume and deep bass which is also adjustable. When I cranked up the volume to the max, my whole room shook and my TV fell off the wall and cracked! So this sub is indeed powerful.

I initially bought the Sonos Beam for our TV and while its awesome by itself it is missing that boom when watching shows. This subwoofer brings that rumble. It is amazing. Sometimes the house shakes a bit on some sounds. I love it! As with all Sonos stuff, it is expensive but very high quality.
