Awesome sub! Easy as can be as with all SONOS. I would say that it even makes all of the other speakers sound better and even louder obviously.

Awsome bass makes great companion with the playbar and the sound it's amazing. Now all I want to do is watch movies and hear the sounds like I was in the movies.

Is it pricey? Yes. Is it absolutly necessary for your Sonos stereo theater? 1000% yes. Phenomenal sound. Easy set up, One of my favorite Sonos speakers. Period

While I wanted something to connect to my TV, my primary interest was in listening to music. After having several Bose systems over the years, I was hesitant to switch to Sonos. But the sound the heard, the feeling I got every time I heard this Sub with the Playbar in the stores, made me truly giddy. I read many reviews before splurging on this, the Playbar, and two One SLs. I’m not only in love with the truly impressive sound, but the whole Sonos system. I’ve added three more One SLs to fill the house. Love it!!

I had a Bose before, now I have Sonos, the boss! It's not just about wireless, it's the future at present. I call it the power of sound and the sound of power. It brings a different kind of life to the music and movies. Home theaters cannot be without this.

Have tried many other products instead of Sonos but after trying them all including Bose I think Sonos works the best. I have a 3,000 square ft home with Sonos speakers in all the rooms and they all work great. I also have wifi extenders etc to ensure signal reaches all speakers etc. If your wifi stinks better rethink any wifi speakers. Love the sub it packs a power punch while watching movies. Watched Jurassic Park the other day and sounded like the dinosaurs were roaming the living room. Great products very heavy and stable so not weird vibrations etc..

I purchased the Sonos 5.1 system, and have been thoroughly impressed with the sound. All the speakers are fantastic, and the subwoofer is amazing. This is not a cheap system, but the sound is worth it, and being able to control the system through Alexa, and from our phones has been more useful than I had imagined. I highly recommend this system! If budget is an issue, maybe start with the soundbar, then add the subwoofer when you can, and then add the rear speakers when you can.

Best surround sound system I’ve heard out of compact and Bluetooth compatible system. Bass is unreal. Deep, clear and he’s hitting. Brings movies to life.

This piece completes my whole system. The sound quality is amazing. The app on my phone makes it simple to use and it all connects through my television as well.

Bought the subwoofer to use with Sonos Soundbeam. Great audio and bass with this system. Couldn't be more pleased with my first ever 'wireless' subwoofer.

Has a great lower frequency sound, really fills up the room with no vibrations. Easy to use and add to existing system with app as well.

This unit definitely rounds out the audio in my living room. I have found that there is a much heavier kick when listening to music even at lower volumes. App use takes some getting used to but overall I am pleased with my purchase

This sub is legit! It sounds like your in a movie theater.. and I also like that u can adjust the bass sound especially for night times. But worth it!

Bought a Sonos sound bar and a pair of Sonos One speakers as a surround sound system for our main TV back around Xmas. Added this sub when it went on sale recently and love the addition to the surround sound system. Great for movies and music. Hid it behind the couch. Was really easy to set up and connect wirelessly to the rest of the system - we really like this feature as no wires (except power). Really can't give you a good sound comparison to other brands, but we really like this sound system combo.

Bass really kicks in and sounds great. Very easy to set up with the app. love the can pre set up how deep you want the bass. Also love the fact can play local radio stations

Sonos wireless subwoofer sounds fantastic when paired with the Sonos One SL wireless speakers and Sonos Beam sound bar.

The sub is a must if using the Sonos sound bar. The quality of sound amplifies with a great surround sound. In addition they are designed really well.

I purchased this subwoofer and the associated Sonos Soundbar to replace a very old but great sounding Denon system I have had for about 10 years. The old tower speakers, cables, amplifier and head unit were cluttering up my new living room and I wanted a change. They look great and sound awesome! The only real issue that I had with them was during setup. The subwoofer is required to pair with the Soundbar through the Sonos app and it MUST use a WiFi hotspot/access point/router setup that operates on the 5ghz spectrum. Now most new WiFi antennas do, however for reasons outside the scope of this review I preferred not to have a 5 Ghz WiFi antenna. Long story short, I found out that in addition to the $1,500 I spent on the speakers I then needed to spend another $150 on a new wireless setup for this half of my house. In the end it works great and sounds awesome, but there isn't any documentation that states the subwoofer needs to run on 5 Ghz. It should also be noted that all of the other items that Sonos sells can run on either 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz.
