I love the Sonos system!! The bass response from the subwoofer is ridiculous. I bought it to add bottom to all of the speakers in the house as well as the beam and boy does it. Keeping in kind I own a townhouse, If I don't adjust the response it actually rattles the dishes in my kitchen. The only thing I didn't realize is it seems it can only pair with the beam as part of the surround sound. But when I connect the other speakers, and I have the subwoofer centralized in the house, it works fine.

OK I have to say that I bought the SUB as an Open Box item from my local BB for over $160 off. I have it paired with the Beam on in a 18’x15’ basement area. It is more than enough to fill that space and the SUB adds SO much. It really allows the Beam to focus on the mids and highs (what it does best). I really did not want to pay more for the SUB than I did for the Beam but now that I have them paired I could not go without the SUB. They really compliment each other and the SUB doesn’t overpower the Beam as I had feared.

Had the Playbar for a couple of years and always thought it could use just a little more on the low end. Adding the Sub was major improvement not just on the deep bass effects of movies but music seemed to be much more balanced and impactful. I was most impressed by how much better low volume music could be "felt" now vs. just disappearing completely in the background. Not cheap, but if you're already invested in the Sonos ecosystem, definitely a great addition.

Lots of great bass from a small wireless unit. Just plug it in and what great sound it produces. Definitely a must have with the playbar.

This subwoofer is as advertised, it provides deep, rich base to your sound system. Easy to set up, easy to adjust. Does a great job with your Sonos system.

This entire Sonos System is off the charts. The clarity and the ease of use is fantastic. I have tried many different systems in the past. This is 2nd to none.

Outstanding sound when coupled with the Playbar. Really enjoy the bass, although the Bose has a bit more, the Sonos is absolutely great sounding as well.

Wonderful, clean sound. The bass is not overwhelming but compliments my other Sonos speakers that was purchased 1 year ago.

I’ve been using the Sonos beam and 2 Sonos Ones as the stereo system for our primary TV. I finally was able to purchase the Sonos Sub to complete the 5.1 surround sound. This really completes the set and provides movie theater like quality during movies. I don’t notice the improvements as much for day to day shows but streaming music and movies have turned a good system into a great one. I understand this is very expensive for the average sound system but if you have the money then go for it!

I love the sound and bass that comes from this subwoofer. We bought the soundbar and subwoofer to create the true effect of being in the movies. Love the both!

I must say, it is a little expensive, but it is completely worth it. From the design to the sound, love this piece of my Sonos setup

This is an incredible addition to a Sonos system. Easy to setup. Love the no wires system and it sounds great.

You would never know this is a ported sub by listening to it. It hits all the frequencies from low voices and midbass rock drums down to lower digital bass music. Very clean, tight and punchy sound with music and very nice low end rumble for those action movies we all love. It's plenty loud for the Beam and a pair of Ones with extra volume to spare. If you're on the fence, GET THIS SUB. PERIOD. Unfortunately, no one can be told about the Sonos sub. You have to hear it for yourself!

This has to be THE BEST subwoofer out there. It's well built and tremendously powerful. Bass is powerful and clear.

This thing is beautiful and delivers excellent bass. I’ve had other wired subs(paradigm, klipsch) - this one is on par with any of those

The look is perfect. Feels like a functional sculpture. Easy to install, compliments the Sound Bar and discovered it immediately so it was plug and play, Gives great sound in a room that isn't a home theater but really pluses the sound you get from the TV speakers so the experience is worth the money.
