This sub is incredible! It can shake the house but more importantly it brings out the low sounds of your system and fills the room with beautiful deep base sounds. Using the Sonos app you can adjust the base from room shaking to mind blowing sound. This is the best addition to a Sonos Sound Bar, being expensive, but almost a requirement to take your Sonos to a level that you will not believe the quality of the output.

Love the sub. It is a nice balance and compliments the Playbar. Crisp base not over powering.

Very happy with this purchase. Combined with my Sonos Playbar, the sound quality is very good. I'm no audiophile so I won't say it's excellent, as I'm sure there are more expensive options that produce higher quality audio, but to my ears it sounds great. Very easy to use, and I've never had issues with it.

Attached this unit to my playbase after I initially thought I could get away with just a playbase. My unit sits in a large living room. When the sound I felt wasn’t good enough for movie night I bought the base. Loved the sound so much I bought an extra play 1 for final 5.1 surround. Great movie system

Great bass but not overpowering. Makes the Bar sound much better on mid range and high.

I have always been a Bose fan until this purchase last December! I was reluctant to purchase Sonos because of this but I'm super happy with it. The sound is awesome and I do definitely recommend it. I was just going to buy the Sonos playbar and expand from there but I also purchased this subwoofer and two of the smaller speakers! Excellent buy!

Sonos makes some of the best wireless audio around. This is my second sub and with two Play-5 speakers the sound is killer. I use it in my home office and with True Play and the Sonos app I can enjoy music of any style. Sounds great for rock and pop, classical, jazz, and anything else. If you have Sonos gear without this sub, start saving your money for one!

This is a must have!!This woofer changes the way your entire sound system sounds. I purchased a second one to use with my outside speakers. What DJ? don't need one, just a great playlist. Yes I would recommend. I saved $100 buy getting an open box. The only down side is you have to re-pair if you move it to play with other speakers.
