i needed an upgrade on a system and picked this against bose.bose is good also but id give this a try, made a good choice. id say they pretty much equal.

The bass is not annoying and it does not rattle when you place the speak on anything the sound is clear and crisp and this just adds the ambiance of anything you listen to.

Amazing sub. It looks and sound awesome. With the Sonos True Tune it delivers powerful 5.1 I have it paired with the Playbar and 2 Play5s. More surround sound that my living room can handle!!!

We recently acquired the Sonos Sub Wireless Subwoofer as a replacement for a subwoofer that came with another system. The increased bass it produces is exceptional and far superior to the boxed system we had before.

I’ve had a Bose 3 2 1 for several years and thought that I’d never want another system. But then I heard SONOS. Very pleased with the purchase although a little pricey.

Great design, aestheticlyneasing. The sound produced makes your lung cavity move in concert. Whole house shakes to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, or Tchaikovsky 1812 Overture.

What a world of difference adding the subwoofer to my sound bar. I also just added two play 1's to complete the surround sound. So happy with this product. Setup was easy and you can control everything from the app.

Sonos is no point expensive, but I love my 5.1 surround system. The Sub is attractively designed and full, rich base. If you have their other products I recommend adding the sub into the mix.

Really enhanced the surround sound experience without being over the top bass-y. For those who love thumping base sounds, the Sonos app lets you adjust that to your preference.

This sub is excellent. I waited to purchase this after buying other Sonos items, got it on sale, and it has made a complete difference in my system. A must buy.

A complete must if you own the playbar. Movies come alive and music gets that theater base you get. It makes everything more lifelike. Great investment over the garbage 300 speaker sound bar sets.

I have Sonos speakers throughout my house. I just added my first subwoofer and wow. Everything comes alive. The room becomes part of the sound. Should have done this long time ago.

We added the base speaker to the playbar. It was easy to connect, and it added the full sound and range to the sound system. A must buy if you are buying the playbar for a home theater system.

I was so satisfied with the Plat One system that I bought a second one for the lower level. I love the ability to fill my whole house with sound and the control I have with the system.

Wanted to add to my beam and sonos ones and it did not disappoint. The extra bass resonating in the room adds to any experience whether watching movies or listening to music.

Don’t waste time. Go out and buy the Sonos subwoofer and add the Playbar and two Sonos Play:1s while you’re at it. You will never here a better surround sound experience for this price range.

A MUST HAVE SUB WOOFER!! This goes well with other Sonos speakers especially the Beam. Perfect for the living room TV to watch shows/movies that have a lot of sound effects..

the sound from the new playbar and sub is amazing. the setup was a bit frustrating. because we run a business from the house, we have a secure and a guest internet connection. "guest" connections typically don't allow devices to communicate with each other so we had to have IT set up a third "home" connection. also, sonos won't set up using wireless access points; we had to use an ethernet connection for setup, then move the playbar and sub to their locations.
