Sony points are a great alternative to give someone as a gift. I purchased this for myself because the store did not sell madden points. I was able to use this to purchase some through the PlayStation store.

This is great. I get to get points twice over and download all the DLC I need. It's also great for any parent that isn't comfortable with the idea of inputting their card information into there kids' games...

Although, as it turns out, adult sites accept best buy gift cards but not Playstation Store. Should have done my research I suppose :/ oh well lesson learned.
