This product makes a great gift, but if your like me I always buy these for the reward points at bestbuy. Since your loading up your playstation you might as well get extra money(points accumulated over time)

Call me old fashion but I really don't like storing credit card info into a file. This is a good compromise. Only draw back is you have to buy it in stores

Sure, you can just load your PSN account from your credit/debit card, but if you buy it from Best Buy and you are enrolled in the gamers club, you end up getting a ton of reward points. It's a no-brainer.

We use these for downloading games digitally. Especially nice when PlayStation has a special or you are in need to additional content not available in store.
