In today's digital world we live in constant fear of identity theft. Purchasing of digital content has become dangerous for the common man. As we saw with the great Sony Outage of 2011. Where approximately 77 million accounts were stolen and prevented users of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable consoles from playing online through the service. Like many users I was left on the sidelines for 24 days. But unlike most users I fortunately did not have to fear that my bank account was compromised. From the very beginning I've always used PlayStation Network Card. Sure it doesn't give you that instant gratification all gamers crave. But in the long run it's the safest way to ensure you don't end up buying someone else a $1000.00 sofa.

Acquisition and use of these cards is pretty straight forward as far as purchasing them at Best Buy is concerned. I simply write this review to positively comment on their convenience and availability. Being a gamer who is increasingly becoming more and more open to purchasing my games digitally, indie and AAA alike, the availability of these cards across multiple dollar denominations at stores such as Best Buy has been wonderful. Most stores such as Best Buy have reward/points programs, and while said rewards tied to the points can be far and few between, it's been great utilizing those rewards to snag $10 or $20 PSN cards like this to pad my game collection or even save some money on more expensive titles.

What better way to spend your money on video games than spend it in your video games network store via gift card! Do you have troubles figuring out what to get that average teenager wants to play? Problem solved with this card, it allows the person to choose a variety of options (movies, music, games and ADD Ons!) Are you one of those overbearing mom states doesn't want to buy the latest shoot them up game? Throw a blinds eye and let your kid get it then selves with this card. (No parent on the book club will ever know)

I wanted to buy the new MLB the Show 24 game and this card helped get me there (plus I bought like 4 more of 'em so I could buy some WWE stuff as well haha.) These always come in handy and Best Buy always has 'em in stock!

This is a gift card. It is a little strange because you buy one of these in the store and there is a code on the back that you reveal and type in to your playstation account and it gives you money but somehow it works so I suppose it is worth it we like to buy a bunch of these at once because our cashflow is weird and then we always have them on hand to give out as birthday gifts for our kids friends which is kind of meta on the whole concept of storing currency in other currency to time shift the value of something but whatever don't overthink it now.

Brought it as a gift for my brother who loves gaming.

Been using PSN cards ever since I started making purchases on PSN for my old PSP. Works as expected, no problems with activation. And its easy to use em, just redeem code from the menu in PSN (least for my PSV). Safer than giving Sony your CC info as they've been hacked before. And more opportunities for discounts as these cards do occasionally go on sale (or use your BB Points up for cheaper cards). Just be a bit careful that you don't gouge the card while scratching off the silvery covering. Scratch it hard enough and you might destroy the code on the card in the process. Never happened to me but I've read of it happening to others (and its difficult to get a refund then in that case).

i like my ps4! and when i see a sale on my playstation store i check out what they have and they have some pretty good deals so i'll get something i really like and pay for it and be happy and play the heck out of it cause it's really fun! i just got to say wow! this is fun!!! thanks playstation for all that you do!

I bought 2 for my husband and he likes to play his PS4 games to relaxing.

I got this for my fiance last year as a christmas gift so he can have playstation plus for a year and i rebought it again because his subscription is ending! it's just a convenient gift thats right on time!! Great for if you don't know what to gift the gamer in your life!
