psn cards are a great, easy way to add currency to your psn account. i like getting them in $10 increments often so that i don't get too tempted to spend it all at once on lots of dlc I won't get around to playing. just a little treat here and there, a few songs on rock band, things like that!

I love taking my kids to Bestbuy. Shopping at best buy is very affordable.

If you're looking at this, then you know the PS Network gets hacked every 6-12 months. Save yourself the agony of having your CC info compromised and get this card. Happened to me a year ago (luckily my bank recouped me) so I only buy the prepaid cards now. Never a matter of if, just when.

I wanted to buy some playstation titles online as that is the only place for some of them but, frankly, Sony has had enough hacking of late. Even though PlayStation Store allows you to store your credit/debit card as a payment method; I buy the PlayStation card for many reasons: 1. It's the easiest way to collect points from Best Buy 2.if PSN goes down, it easy to not have the credit/debit card on file, so you won't get hack. 3. and many many more

The PlayStation Store lets you purchase many things including games of course. DLC, movies, tv shows, and themes also. Using the gift card also allows you to not use your credit card if you’re worried about your personal information being taken advantage of.

Purchased $50 Playstation Store card with 10% off sale on Best Buy website. Picked up at my local store after receiving email notification from store it was ready for pickup. Very impressed with super fast email response. Bottom line - I got $5 in free funds to use on the Playstation Store and as they say nothing beats free.
