    If you are needing to give a gift to someone this is the best way to go. It gives them a limit on what they can purchase by having an amount on the card. They can use the card same as having a credit card on file for game ad ons.

    Needed a gift for an avid gamer. Grabbed a gift card for the wrong system. Checkout made sure I took a gift receipt, just in case. Sure enough, I had purchased for the wrong system. Recipient had the gift receipt and exchanged it without a hitch. Very convenient!
