Not that I don't trust PSN, but my accounts have been hacked before elsewhere. I always pay for these cards so that there won't be as much trouble if my PSN stuff is hacked.

I really needed this when I wanted to buy alot of DLC for several videogames. And I got $2 off for this during a sale. Convenient when purchasing games or dlc without a credit card.

This card is useful for parents that whats to avoid putting a credit card in their PSN account. Once credit has been used, kids won't be able to buy which saves a lot of trouble.

My godson enjoys these cards because he can buy whatever he wants. Easy to use even a 7 year old can use it without a problem.

So easy to buy and give as a gift for my nephew. He loved getting a bunch of cards at smaller values since he thought more presents is better.

My son's likes to buy games & accessories, so this was a good way of allowing him to do that. Also, it is much safer than using your credit cards so that by itself is a definite plus.
