When my credit card is offering a special at Best Buy (bonus % cash back), one of the items I try to pick up are Sony PlayStation gift cards. I can load them to my wallet to pay for PlayStation Vue. Be careful, you can only have up to $150 in your wallet at any given time. A lot of times these cards are out of stock, so it is a bonus when they are.

Glad they make these gift cards in small increments. Purchased x2 for my son as an Easter gift and he was able to buy a few games. Loved it! Will most likely buy again.

Rather purchase card at store then put my debit card on-line. Only problem is sometimes hackers take these cards, scan them, put them back on the shelf, then when you use your credit card to pay for the cards, they get your credit card number when the transaction goes through. They will take any and all money from your account or credit card.

I got rid of cable, now I have internet and Playstation Vue. I could just have the Playstation Vue subscription charge to my credit card each month but I prefer to buy the gift cards so I get Best Buy rewards points and airline miles. Purchased for son for Christmas along with Nintendo eShop card. Struggled to get it linked to his account and we finally determined that I (Dad) have the main PSN account in the household and his PSN account is a sub-account. Had to add card to my account and then his sub-account accessed the wallet. A bit confusing... but we got it figured out and he is able to buy the games he wants and download.

Allows you to buy stuff from PSN without a credit card which is good because Sony hasn't always been that reliable when it comes to keeping that info safe. My only critique though is not of the card itself but that Best Buy doesn't offer a digital purchase, it's only a physical card. This gift card was just what I was looking for i was only twenty cents off from buying my game and I didn't want to put my debit card on PSN ( Playstation Network). The lowest tier of gift card i found was $25. Although I could have spent less I'm glad best buy has a cheaper option.
