If you're looking at this, then you know the PS Network gets hacked every 6-12 months. Save yourself the agony of having your CC info compromised and get this card. Happened to me a year ago (luckily my bank recouped me) so I only buy the prepaid cards now. Never a matter of if, just when.

psn cards are a great, easy way to add currency to your psn account. i like getting them in $10 increments often so that i don't get too tempted to spend it all at once on lots of dlc I won't get around to playing. just a little treat here and there, a few songs on rock band, things like that!

Excellent card for purchasing digital games on PS5 and playing online

I wanted to buy some playstation titles online as that is the only place for some of them but, frankly, Sony has had enough hacking of late. I want to be safe with my online information but I don't want that to stop the company from bouncing back. This was the perfect way to accomplish all of the desired actions.

Gotta have playstation store credit. Helps me to not buy every game that comes out and wait for sales. Keeps the wife happy!

Even though PlayStation Store allows you to store your credit/debit card as a payment method; I buy the PlayStation card for many reasons: 1. It's the easiest way to collect points from Best Buy 2.if PSN goes down, it easy to not have the credit/debit card on file, so you won't get hack. 3. and many many more

Purchased $50 Playstation Store card with 10% off sale on Best Buy website. Picked up at my local store after receiving email notification from store it was ready for pickup. Very impressed with super fast email response. Bottom line - I got $5 in free funds to use on the Playstation Store and as they say nothing beats free.
