    Noise Canceling & Sound

I love these headphones! The noise canceling and sound are great. The price reduction by Sony makes them even better. I’ve Beats and Bose, with the Sony’s, you don’t have to compromise too much on NR or sound. These Sony’s are GM great on both.

Purchased for my husband for Christmas, he loves them! Says the noise canceling is awesome and when he’s working in his shop he can’t hear the machines. Thank you Sony! Awesome product!

These are the best noise cancelling headphones ever I got. This has got all premium features worth for this price. I compared these with Bose QC35 and I believe these has got best noise cancelling. And the sound quality is top notch.

If you ware looking for amazing over the ears noise cancellation headphones these Sony are the best for the price. The noise cancellation is magnificent, the sound quality is really good and the battery is the best in the market, close to 40 hours! Honestly, these headphones are much better than Bose 35 and way better than Beats in every single aspect. The only negative point is that it can be paired with just one device. The best headphones I ever bought and I have a lot of them.

    Best ANC headphone available

After watching review after review and purchasing several different wireless headphones with ANC (Bose QC35ii, B&O H8) and after purchasing these cans I immediately noticed the difference, while all the others are effective in noise cancelling, they also put pressure on my ear drums that sometimes made me feel uncomfortable. The Sony's did not and were even slightly more isolating. The Sennheiser 550's came close to the Sony's but we're also twice as much to purchase. These will be my everyday cans for years to come.

The sound quality is awesome. Noise cancellation works best for vehicles passing by, but the wind noise is not cancelled. The build quality is somewhat flimsy. I am making sure I put the headphones in their case after I use it.

If your traveling these are a must have. Went to Japan which was about 11 and a half hours trip to Japan and about 10 hours back to LA. Connects easily with the plane's sound system by wire and adapter (which comes with it). Blocks out all that loud engine noise so I could watch movies and listen to music in peace. I also drive to Reno which is about 9 hours. When I'm not driving I use these. Forget about the earbuds. They really suck when compared to these headphones.

All I can say is WOW. Bose better watch out because Sony has come to play with a vengeance. I currently use these with my iPhone 7 Plus with music coming from Apple Music, and I don't feel like that can even come close to doing these justice. Sony's Bass Boost in the accompanying amp does not distort Treble or Mids at all. Noise Cancelling is fantastic. I love the ability to momentarily hear my surroundings. Google Assistant a welcome feature, but I'm an Apple user, so I'll stick with Siri.

I have enjoyed my time with these headphones. When comparing my past experience with Bose active noise cancelling headphones (purchased in 2011), these provide obviously superior sound quality and noise cancellation. Not an audiophile by any means, but I greatly enjoy listening to music with these and they perform great with noise cancellation. The battery life is great with these. There are plenty of neat tuneable features if you want to do nitty-gritty sound adjustments, but I don't use these. The one frustration is that you can only connect to one device at a time, and to connect to another device, you must power down the entire headphones, power them on again while initiating Bluetooth pairing. Overall, great headphones.

Great alternative for Bose QC 35 II

I went to Best Buy to get Bose QC 35 ii but stumbled up on this Sony. Build quality is on par but Bose slightly lighter and little more premium feel. Sound quality wise, I preferred this much more than Bose. Noise cancelling, Bose takes the cake. On top of that this was on sale for 299. I used this one on 1 transatlantic flight, 3 trips to California from Florida and had no issues. Great battery. my only gripe was with the button placement. I wish they found a better place.

Used these on a cross country flight and they exceeded my expectations. Sat a few rows back of the engines in a window seat and listened to music without engine noise. Expensive, but worth it for the peace and quiet.

I use these for leisure and in a volunteer church position. I have had these on for periods as long as 3 hours a time with no discomfort. These can be used with a connected wire or bluetooth. I prefer the wired option because it seems to be a louder option. They can be used with or without the noise cancelling option with the wired connection I tried JBL, BOSE, and BEATS, and felt the SONY gave me the best sound quality and comfort.

First off the headphones look great. The sound is excellent. Awesome touch controls make it easy. However it does take a small amount of time to get use to them. Cups are big enough for many ears. I know this because friends and family ask to demo my pair. Head comfort can feel a little tight the first week. But after that it conformed to my head well. Noise reduction works very well. Come with a case and for me was hard a hard buy. But the now I’m glad I got them. Worth the money.

The noise cancelling is just as good as the Bose and it has lots of cool features during playback that the Bose does not. Materials are of high quality. Gonna buy another pair for my wife for Christmas!

I struggled to pair the headphones via Bluetooth initially. After downloading an app, things were fine. Battery life is pretty good. I do like the sound quality. Noise canceling is effective and nice, but not perfect. I remain surprised how loud the world is after removing these headphones. Not the most comfortable, but not terrible either. I just do NOT like the touch control on the side of the headset. I’m accidentally changing stuff when I grab them. They beep when you do it just as a reminder you did something. No way to avoid the big price tag.

The headphones are insanely good in terms of battery life, sound quality and active noise cancellation. I’ve worn them daily and they truly block out loud car and train noises outside. There’s an app as well that’s available for android and ios to customize the music equalizer settings to your liking. The color of the headphones are sort of gunmetal instead of full black, but it does give it a premium look. Overall these headphones are the best ones out in the market today.

It's great that they are wireless and you are able to adjust volume and skip tracks with a swipe of finger and can stop everything and talk to anyone just by cupping the right side of the headset. And the noise canceling is excellent also. I cant belive how long the battery lasts, I have gone months without charging it with extended periods of use. So international red eye flight are no problem. Bring on the crying babys
