Great receiver for eARC on Sony x900h

Each speaker can be adjusted separately and has a chromecast connect to the tv to go through its menu on the screen. I use the auto setup feature which is nice then increased the center speaker. Overall its a very good receiver.

Great replacement for a Pioneer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Pioneer which didn't support 4K switching, so I decided to move my receiver to Sony (many of my other products are as well) and I am really happy with the inter component communication turning devices on and off, switching to the right input and the like. The microphone means that I can get the speakers balanced for my environment which means the sound is better than anything I had before. Overall, I am thrilled with the purchase and I would buy it again.

Solid Performer Right Out of the Box

The Sony was very easy to setup, and expanded my system for the rest of the family. I am a nudge when it comes to audio. Pros- Simple to setup out of the box. The system integrated with my network, DAC, and 5.1 Dolby Atos array. Cons- Needs more headroom and power, It's really 50 watts a channel into 8 Ohms.

Very happy with the system. Perhaps the receiver features were more than I needed, but it makes everything very easy. I mostly use my Harmony Remote, but occasionally need the receiver remote for settings. My only 'complaint' is that I wish this receiver could have a turntable connected to it ........... something I knew b4 I purhased this, and can live with.

The sound quality is great - that and the operation beats the heck out of the Panasonic VX60 that it replaced. Overall, it seems to be a great purchase - especially at the sale price. My only minor gripe, and it's my fault for not looking closely enough, is there is no phono pre-amp which would have been nice. Overall, so far we are very pleased.
