When I hooked up the new reciever the subwoofer did not work. Found out you need a subwoofer with a built in amp and the other speakers sounded like tweeters. I found this to be very frustrating. I had to hold on until I could buy a new subwoofer and center speaker before the system started to sound better. Features for auto switching between devices run through the reciever is smooth and the video pass through has not had any issues.
