    I looked up and reviewed many receivers before deciding to purchase this one. If you are using a 4K TV, all ports support HDCP 2.2 for protected content like 4K Blu-ray. it has a wide variety of support is easy to configure and optimize and allows you to have audio without the TV on and with the TV on depending on the input and configuration. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that wants a feature packed receiver.

    Great quality receiver from Sony. Has most of the top of the line features today. Unfortunately, does not have AirPlay 2 and Sony is unwilling to do a simple firmware update to add AirPlay 2 support, which is why I ended up returning it. However, if AirPlay 2 is not a feature you are looking for, then it’s a solid buy with excellent features at a reasonable price with a user-friendly interface.
