Atmos support massively problematic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Before you buy: Atmos 5.1.2 sources will play, however there is a massive issue with this receiver. Whenever using Atmos, I (and numerous people on the internet, google it!) have a loud popping noise when pausing, playing or skipping content (Netflix, Disney+, etc) on my Bravia x900h. The receiver is also VERY slow to utilize in its GUI, aside from the audio popping issues. I’m using a zeskit 48gbps 8k hdmi cable with arc to my x900h, for anyone wondering with their setup, and I have tested with my older onkyo recovers (both of which don’t have any of these issues). I’m going to promptly return this buggy and problematic AVR. It’s a disappointment honestly. The rest of the features I could nit pick, but for the price of the AVR you should look elsewhere.
