Receiver Great.....Geek squad install not so good

Unfortunately I cannot stay the same about the service I received from the geek squad. The installer was very inept and unknowledgable about the product. The receiver is hooked up and all the speakers are workin, but the install never paired the receiver to my modem. The receiver was set up so that 6 of the speakers are always on Unless I turn them off in the individual rooms. The installer told me the speakers would not work, but they do. I have tried to contact the geek squad for some direction, but they appear to be unresponsive. Unfortunately this was not a good experience.

The setup was a little challenging, but once it was setup the sound was great. About a month ago I lost sound when trying to watch anything streaming through the TV HDMI port on the receiver. I changed it to another port and it worked. A couple of days later sound went for the CBL/SAT port but we still had video. A couple of days later both the sound and audio stopped working through the receiver. I tried unplugging everything and setting it all up from scratch and it doesn't recognize anything being connected anymore. I plugged in an older receiver I still have and that one works fine so it is the received for sure. Reached out to Best Buy and was told to email Sony since it is over a year old. Emailed Sony and have not got a response at all. Very disappointed with how this has worked out after what I paid for it. The Denon I have had for 10 years still works and I thought I was upgrading.
